    1. Wow, this book was a gas! Or perhaps I should aether? On the whole I`m not a huge steampunk reader. There are a few series that I enjoyed, Gail Carriger`s Parasol Protectorate books leap to mind, but on the whole there is too much tech-talk about cogs and gears and not enough romance. Ms. Townsend bridges that gap perfectly in London Steam. There is just the right amount of science, action, plot, humor, and sex (one of the hottest menage scenes I have read in ages) to keep a reader turning the p [...]

    2. This was like a balloon ride in the night under the stars. It was exhilarating but ended to soon. I hope there will be a series.

    3. 3 star review by Pamela-MaeThis book surprisingly was two interlocked stories. The first story is about Dex and Seth, and we learn of their histories. Dex was attacked by a Gwr he was trying to save, blinding him in one eye and scarring him. However he’s made himself a half-mask with an artificial eye in order to remain part of society. Seth, on the other hand, is a Gwr changed in a moment that skirts too close to non-consensual for my tastes. When they meet they find a connection together and [...]

    4. This book has pretty much got me covered: Light BDSM: check (I wasn't expecting any, so I was pleasantly surprised!)Paranormal: checkUrban fantasy: checkHistorical romance: checkVampires and werewolves have gotten a little passé lately, but Lynn Townsend's monstrous characters, while clearly recognizable by their respective lore, are fresh and vibrant. All characters, human or no, are well fleshed-out, and the romance is intense but believable. Definitely worth reading!

    5. 2.5 stars. I enjoyed the first short story more than the second one because the latter was much too rushed. Both had intriguing potential, but needed more development for my liking.
