    1. I love military history, and this book is a great introduction to Genghis Khan. It starts with the history of his clan before delving into the different struggles that he encountered in life which lead to his rise as the military genius that he became. It doesn't have much to say about his tactics, mostly overview of military objectives and conquests.

    2. Read this book as a prelude to reading Conn Iggulden's four book series on Genghis Khan. A fact-filled synopsis of the biography of the world's greatest conqueror.

    3. Attacking, plundering, marrying, killing, attacking, plundering, marrying, killing Much too much complicated information and unpronounceable names to make sense in a pocket biography.
