    1. My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!***Received the ebook as part of the tour for an honest reviewThe cover is beautiful and Sianna definitely is looking like a warrior. The green world and light just completes everything :) Only thing off is her skin color, but it would probably look cartoony if they tried to fix it.This is my first time reading Karen’s work, and I really enjoyed it. This world she created is pretty cool. I love how she mixed reality and fantasy together i [...]

    2. Perfectly designed and created!!  Fractured features a wide range of fairy tale creatures in an original and exciting way.  The heroine, Sianna, gripped me with her inner struggles of finding her family, her strength, as well as her true self.  A very adventurous and fast paced read.  Two thumbs up from me.

    3. *Full review originally posted at Melissa's Bookshelf.Once again, with Fractured, Karen does not disappoint, delivering a fun, fast-paced read. I couldn't believe it when the story was over and naturally, I really wanted to know what came next. While this is the first book in the five-book Newtimber series, it does not end in dramatic cliffhanger fashion -- just enough to make you wish you could grab the next book, but it not enough to make you tear your hair out in frustration (for those of you [...]

    4. What is it like reading Fractured? You feel like you are reading a pretty average YA Contemporary book untilin character Sianna looks up to see a black dragon flying into town. It drops a speckled egg and BANG, green mist everywhere, and everything or I should say, EVERYONE changes!! After that, you know that things are bound to get exciting. This book centers around the Fae people, but Hoover writes a very interesting twist on the world of the Fae. It was fun to have things changed up and I know [...]

    5. Full of action and emotion, Fractured is a unique read unlike anything I've encountered before. My only real complaint is the ease with which the humans transformed into fae. Not the physical part, but the mental and emotional one. Everyone handled their transformations as if it wasn't really that big of a deal to be turned into monsters. This bothered me. Other than that, I found this to be an entertaining and exciting tale, if a little lacking in the plot department. I love Sianna. She's so re [...]

    6. Fractured is a fantastic and original view of the secret fairie world. The writing is beautifully done with enough description that I can picture the whole scene without bogging down the action. The Hero, a young runaway girl, feels like a real teen with her sarcasm, tough attitude and surliness. And like a teen, she is torn between wanting independence and wanting family. This gruesomely fun action story pulled me in from the start. I highly recommend this to all teens and older who like any ty [...]

    7. This was a wonderful fantasy series. I just loved the world Hoover created and can't wait to read more about it. The main character is strong, compassionate, and protective. The story was exciting and kept me captivated from beginning to end. It's the perfect story for any young reader who enjoys fantasy. I can't wait to read the next book and find out what adventure Hoover takes us on next.

    8. Fractured is exciting and a great adventure. The characters were unique and original and the story line moved along quick enough that I couldn't put it down.
