    2. A brave woman & protective man are marred by the violent deaths of their spouses. However, though a marriage of convenience they ignite feelings thought forever burried.Exciting tale with a sadistic killer, shootings, rustlers & investigation, and a mastermind that was unexpected. Kept me turning pages.

    3. I received this book in a giveaway.I may have had the wrong expectations on this one. It was a little darker than I would have liked. And while I say that it was not graphic so as to be downright gross. The bad guys were a little too bad to make this a fun read.My one thought consistently through the book was “Lydia might be good with a knife but even so she was still pretty exposed while the bad guy was still out there”.So not totally awful but not really good either.     4. I can hardly wait for book threeThis book really held my attention . I could not solve the mystery until the end. Throughout the book I found myself doing a mental inventory of the characters and their personalities. This was the first time I read books by this author. I will be following her works in the future.

    5. I enjoyed the first book in the series. This one just didn't hold my attention. I skipped a lot just to finish.
