    1. When I read Fighting the Impossible by Selina Bodur I had no idea she was also a gifted poet. But as soon as I started reading it I began to see glimpses of poetry in her writing style. I liked Fighting the Impossible so much that as soon as I finished it, I got The Death of the Rose without realizing it was a book of poetry.     3. My 3 star rating - middle of the road, neither bad nor good. I read the wonderful reviews on this book of poetry and decided to give it a try, but the ideas were simplistic, with at least two misspellings. Unfortunately it was like expecting home-made lemonade and being given a glass of watered down squash.
