  1. Pictures are OK, story is fine, but rhyme and rhythm are clumsy - really amateurish. Considering the great poetry attributed to David, this is especially atrocious and insulting. I have trouble understanding how this got past the Harper editorial process.

  2. I like the pictures, but the text is really awkward and clunky. This story would have been better off with the text from a children's Bible than this poor attempt at rhythm and rhyme.
