    2. There was something compelling about this story that made me want to not put it down.Recently widowed, Hannah Firth is still young - young enough to dream of a new life.     3. I did enjoy this story but i don't plan to read another of Anna Jacobs' books anytime soon.There were just too many little stories going on, i got a bit lost remembering who was who. I was eager to get to the end as i couldn't bear more tragedy, poor Hannah, poor Nathaniel, poor Oliver, how did they make it to the end of the book?

    4. Loved all three books about the sisters and friend and family. First two set in Lancashire and Australia This one set in Lancashire. Anna books always keep you interested in learning more about the familys, and what life deals them.
