    1. This is one of the best stories I have ever had the opportunity to read. It's a page turner from the first page to the last. I plan to read the rest of the books in the series, and I suggest that all you other readers of science fiction do the same. One other suggestion that I have is that M.J.Caan fire his editor. The spelling and grammar in this book is atrocious. To me, it is a shame to see a great read like this marred by the misuse of there, they're, and their. The use of want for won't, and [...]

    2. Oddly the first chapter or so had a very 1950's feeling to the writing style. It reminded me of the Mars series by Burroughs. Then when the first characters started speaking and interacting the books had a much more modern day style to their writing. As other reviewers have pointed out the book is plagued by typos (thrown for throne, etc.) but I've read a lot of books from Project Gutenberg where almost none of the scans are checked for mistakes and I've learned not to let them ruin a story for [...]

    3. A great story but flawed. M.J. Caan has written a very original story, exciting and full of energy. The characters are well presented and sympathetic, the "good guys" are likable and the villains such as you love to hate. Unfortunately, the author has committed so many egregious errors that it darn near ruins the book. Nearly every page has several mistakes in spelling, punctuation and word use. Things like plurals that should be possesives and vice versa, etc. At first I thought that the author [...]

    4. Need some editingGreat storyline and premise, but about 70% in, it starts to dawdle around. Continuity breaks down, typos pile up and I almost stop reading. Some solid editing would make this a 4 or 5 star book.

    5. I enjoyed the book and found it a light quick read with some surprises and questions that will probably get me to return for the next book in the series. There were small typos that were a minor bother in places but I recommend if you're looking for some quick Sci-fi this hot summer.

    6. Entertaining story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I hope it is just as captivating as this one.

    7. A good book was a but it ended on a cliffhanger, it was published in 2013 so the second should be out very soon hopefully.

    8. The further you read this book the stronger is the impression that the author's imagination is running around unchecked by the laws of logic. For example: just two years after an alien landed on earth the authorities know how to interfere with the superpowers and disable them; foreign nationals operate openly on U.S. soil, the governent knows about it and does nothing; a military jet on a clandestine mission, pursuing bad guys is shot right out of the sky by the said bad guys even though nothing [...]

    9. Great story, terrible grammarThis story is excellent. Big words, sentence structure, all are great. Not too complicated, interesting characters, all good. BUT I mark all errors in brown. There were errors on Every. Single. Page. Multiple ones. Using a "cartoon of orange juice" and many more silly mistakes. The author has NO idea how to make something possessive, or to be consistent, and included so many other types of errors as to be incredibly annoying. I did not take a star off for this, by th [...]

    10. This was a very fun and interesting book to read. It only took me a couple of hours to finish reading it, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a good book. It was quite the contrary as a matter of fact, the characters were very interesting, the plot was well written with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, the action was there and always lurking in the background, and a little romance was also thrown in for good measure.

    11. As one who doesn't normally enjoy sci-fi stories, this was an exception. Some reviewers have commented on inconsistencies and unlikely logic to the story but that didn't bother me. It's fiction and I enjoy reading the creative stories spun from creative minds. This was one such story - creative, unique and very fun to read! Now if only I can get my hands on that hunky aliend superpowers would be nice too ;-))

    12. Loved it!Fascinating story! Well worth your time and money. Aliens discover earth! The first one by accident, his arrival changes the humans all around him. Some in good ways and some in bad. Soon others come looking for the first one. Which is bad news for the earth and human beings!

    13. Wow!!This book was an intriguing, fabulous page turner. I could not put it down. You'll have to forgive me for the shortness of this review, but Book 2 is here and I can't wait to read it

    14. good storyGood story, needs proofreading. A spellchecker gets the right spellings for the words but doesn't help with using the wrong word or leaving some out. An example; 'doge' used for 'dodge'.

    15. Gr8The best superhero story to come along in a very long timeHope the author doesn't make us wait very long before the next installment of this series.

    16. Loved it When is the next one coming. Hopefully soon, the players in this need a lot more time, more story, more conflict, more togetherness

    17. Great debut!Debut with a great start and an even better cliffhanger ending. Had to read it straight through. Highly recommended for up all night reading
