    1. Good book. It starts out with some people dreaming of zombies, although they are never really called that in the book. They do eventually call them living dead, but Marla and the crew call them dead lookers. This is the story of a trio of friends who are trying to get to safety. London is quarantined, and zombies are everywhere. They make some bad decisions, and some good ones. They make new friends along the way. This is the 1st in a series. I have not read the others yet. It isn't one of the be [...]

    2. "Normality breaking into this nightmare."This story peeked my interest from the start and pulled me in quickly. The intriguing mystery captivated my thoughts. Luckily I have yet to dream about Zombies but this horror story sparked an interest that kept me glued to the book until I got to the bottom of this freak show which kept me waiting and wondering all the way through. Even though zombies are not really my thing, I enjoyed the intriguing plot and the likable characters. I found them realisti [...]

    3. A nice story of a terrible virus which not only turns those infected into walking dead, but causes some to dream of the hellish creatures. Two sisters must overcome many obstacles to lead a group of refugees to safety. They have one good friend and together they fight and befriend several along the wayA well thought out and written story that shows the importance of family whether blood or through friendship. So good character development. Caring for other people without any hope of reward other [...]

    4. This was a pretty good zombie novel, and for some reason I have gotten in to them a lot lately. For someone who was really not in to anything zombie a few years ago I have gotten hooked. I actually liked that this story started out with the days before the outbreak, and the events leading up to the infection. Most of the zombie novels that I have read have all started out in the middle of the actual outbreak or after the zombies have been running around for a few years. I am kind of hooked on th [...]

    5. This is my first zombie book so, other than the obvious necessary element of zombies, I had next to no idea what to expect. This story follows a very capable young woman called Marla, and her sister Ellen, as they attempt to escape a sudden out break of a mysterious virus.Through a series of horrific dreams they are among the first to realise that something evil was on the horizon, yet no-one can tell them what’s going on or how they can get help. When their dreams start to become reality they b [...]

    6. As a general rule, I am not a fan of anything zombie. I don't watch the TV shows or movies or read any apocalyptic type of books. I broke my anti-zombie mind-set when I read some of the favorable comments on this book and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did, I Dream of Zombies is a good book and the best part, it didn't give me any nightmares. (That's one of the reasons I stay away from scary books and movies.)I am familiar with Vickie Johnstone's other books and I know what a fine author s [...]

    7. Eh. I liked it, but it really dragged at the end. Probably a problem with the ebook, but there were a few pages repeated right after one another, which bugged the shit out of me. Characters were OK, coulda been fleshed out a bit more.I'm glad that there wasn't a cliffhanger, even tho there's a sequel (or more). Probably not going to read the next one. It didn't grab me that much.
