    2. Cristofori's Dream is a spiritual experience. I just emerged from the depths of someone else's dream, swirling, whirling about, sometimes in a soothing cloud of visuals, other times in a jarring bolt of fear. All the while there was a Presence of an Omniscient Being to steady my journey, faith became my grounding. The author allowed me the opportunity to explore the dimensions of love, trust, fear, life, death, illness, loss, strength, control, good, evil, and personal crisis in a secure way. Th [...]

    3. Ummm I will start with the parts that I enjoyed about Christofori's Dream. First, Janey was a bright and real character, wise beyond her years and I envied her relationship with her brother. I also liked the alternate worlds and recognizing each character from one world to the other. Most of all, the ending was glorious (if I understood it correctly) and also very unique. I have never read a story that was about the strong bond of love between a brother and sister and their individual missions t [...]

    4. I am still currently reading this book and believe my rating will go up as I continue reading. I won this book in a GoodReads First-Reads giveaway. Darkness & Light. Who do you trust? So far Chris is being bullied. He's trying out for the football team and he's being made fun of - by the coach, by the kids. He thinks he can trust the coach - I hope so because he really needs an ally. Can't wait to find out what awaits "Cristofori" and if he can protect those he cares about.

    5. I received the book for free through Giveaways. From book cover: In a magical quest for a Christmas miracle, he did not understand the power with which he played . . . In this timely and haunting tale about revenge and forgiveness, writing and painting, a bullied young teen--overwhelmed by tragedy--abandons his faith for science, then escapes to a world of his own making in search of a Christmas miracle for his dying younger sister. There, he must confront all of his creations--the sacred and th [...]

    6. I have mixed feelings about this. I love the story and world building. I love the messages of fighting for what you want, nothing comes easy, and the metaphors of good/evil. I also get that this is a coming of age story, and while I don't know what it's like to be a teenage boy, I DO know what it's like to be a teenager. I felt bad for Chris always being picked on and how he's trying to compete, but I'd had it with the "man up, be a man, manly manly" yada yada yada. Girls go through something si [...]

    8. I received this as a giveaway from and was looking forward to reading it. I feel bad but I just couldn't get into it and eventually gave up. Other readers loved it so probably it just wasn't a book to my tastes.
