    1. Almost gave it one star. The mystery was really obvious and easily solved, and I'm not a fan of the way the story was written. For one thing, far too many characters are thrown at you very quickly, and the descriptions are inadequate to help you distinguish them or to even get a good feel for the setting. Reading the earlier books in the series would probably clear everything up, but I don't feel like that should be necessary.
