    2. Wow. Okay first off, Melissa approached me and my friend who do a blog, asked us to review two of her books for her a free book in exchange for a honest review, my friend was going to do this one, while I did Melissa's other book Hope(less) (which you should check out after checking this out just saying) ANYWAYS the second book to Hope(less) came out not oh i don't know a little less than a week after i finished Hope(less) (there is point to this i swear) so i read that as soon as i could get my [...]

    3. I have a huge TBR pile and a few books all downloaded on my Kindle and ready to go, but every once in awhile as I’m scrolling through my feed I come across a review for a book that grabs my attention. Touch was one of those books, after reading the review from my friend Trissa, I checked out the synopsis and it sounded like a fun read so I decided to give it a try. While I enjoyed Touch, I think it could have been developed a little better. I enjoyed the idea of the story and thought it had p [...]

    4. Nice story. Annoying characters. Slow romance. Tense drama. Scary stalkers. This should have been a series. I wanted more - too much was left unsaid. My 4 stars go only to Morik. The rest can suck it.

    5. Tessa Sole has a curse that has been following her family for centuries. She needs to find a mate before she turns 17 years old. If she does not find a mate, she dies. Tessa has a gift. She can touch a boy and see her future with him. “I’d once touched a boy and saw my fate as an abused wife.”The curse also had Tessa at home and asleep when the sun goes down until the sun came up for the fear that a creature may find her and hurt her.Morik, a creature and one that specializes in making dea [...]

    6. I would like to thank the author Melissa Haag and Never Too Old for Y. A and N. A Books for allowing me to read this book for a honest review.Tessa is a sixteen year old girl that lives with her mother, aunt Grace, Grandma and Grand aunt Danielle. She has the gift or the cursed that when she touches a boy, she can see her future with him, but the boy always dies at a young age. Tessa must choose a boy before she turns seventeen, the problem is that she cannot choose and condemn someone to an ear [...]

    7. This is the first book I've ever read by Melissa Haag, let's just say, she has me as a loyal reader from here on out. This book was AMAZING.** There maybe some spoilers**Tessa has a gift to be able to see her further with a guy by a simple touch. She has to choose which guy before her seventeenth birthday, or elseShe can't just choose, because the guy she choose will die shortly after, then she meet Morik, some kind a human creature with horns and pointy ears. Morik made a deal with her ancestor [...]

    9. Just finished Touch, and I have a serious book hangover! Melissa has a wonderful and amazing imagination! Her books draw me in and blow me away. I love how she takes something that I would consider evil, bad or extremely scary and makes me love, cry, and laugh. I love the original and unique relationships between the characters; Morik and Tessa are beautiful together! Tessa is a normal girl, not gorgeous or super strong, (well as normal as you can get, when you can see how your relationship with [...]

    10. So I would like to start with I did not receive a free copy in exchange for a review.I freaking loved this book. The writing was evocative. The pacing was fast enough that I did not end up skimming to read faster (my really bad habit). The book was interesting enough that I did not try and guess ahead I just absorbed it as it happened. I read it between 2:30am and 6am (finished not too long ago). I never liked teenaged girls, even when I was one, but the girls were mature, intelligent, and NOT t [...]

    11. TouchBy: Melissa Haag Series: Stand Alone Pages: 353 Genre: YA Paranormal RomanceRating: 2/5 Blurb: A touch. That’s all it takes for Tessa to know her future with a boy. Her mom tells her she needs to choose her best option before she turns seventeen. Problem is, she sees all her ‘options’ dying before they turn thirty. That may have worked for the last fourteen generations of women in her family tree, but she can’t choose and condemn someone to an early grave. An unfortunate incident at [...]

    12. This book follows Tessa and her family curse. She has been given the ability to touch any man and see her future with him. It allows her the foresight to pick the best husband for herself before she turns 17. Unfortunately whoever she chooses will die a few short years after marriage. With only months left, she must decide whether to follow the women in her family's advice and pick based on children or follow her heart. Only her heart wants love, but she can't bring herself to choose someone she [...]

    13. Reviewed by Whitney@Shooting Stars ReviewsTouch begins with us getting to see how very strange Tessa's life is, and her unique ability to see certain futures when she touches people. The problem is her future is actually some what uncertain. And her family doesn't seem to understand why they do the things that they do, but they continue to do them because they've all been warned of the consequences if they don't. That is until, Tessa finds someone who isn't exactly human who seems to have all of [...]

    14. *A copy has been given to me by the author for an honest review*What a breath of fresh air was this book. So different from most of the others I've read. I loved the development of Tessa's and Morick's relationship. The fact that it wasn't insta love made me so glad. I am stuffed full of the insta love. Come on. Nothing is that easy. You have to work for it.I don't believe I've read another book where the characters worked so much for it.The plot was just enough to give a rush but not to overwhe [...]

    15. Review of TouchStar Rating: 5 starsreviewoffantasyFirst off I am a huge fan of Melissa Haag’s work, my number one book being Hope(less). In all my reviews Clay is always my number one man that is until I met Morik. (I’m Sorry Clay) but Morik is so so different.Tessa is cursed any boy she touches she can see her future with them, she can see her children, her life. Sounds great except all the men die young.A curse passed down to each generation, a curse that kills if you don’t pick your man [...]

    16. Fantastically cute, emotional paranormal YA read about high schooler Tessa who has a family secret, although she herself is not privvy to the why's of her family's rules, which include: be home before dark, be magically chanted to sleep each night, and choose a boy before age 17. With only a few month before she has to choose and armed with her family's gift to see the future at a touch, she must decide between those who call her a freak and those who bully her with physical abuse. But Tessa is [...]

    17. This is the very first book Melissa Haag wrote, and all I can think is "how the heck did she do that?" Most first novels lack that grab you by the shoulders and hold on til it's done intensity and interest that you come to love about books. Not the case with Touch. Tessa and her family may be odd, but they are completely real and emotionally complex. Then there's Morik, who is much more than he seems. Paranormal fans, fantasy fans, mystery fans, and romance fans will all find something to love i [...]

    18. Touch is an amazing book! From the beginning you are quickly immersed in Tessa’s life. I love how the book is a paranormal romance, but it also has mystery to it. From the beginning, you are evolving with Tessa and learning about her family history and the curse that has been put on her family. You are feeling the same feeling she is experiencing as you are uncovering more of the mystery. Tessa has a unique gift that I have not seen before in other paranormal reads. I love that about this book [...]

    19. A couple of editorial misses but it's fantastic, different than I'm used to reading, the guy on the cover is misleading lol but I can't blame Melissa he's hot anyway you couldn't accurately display the main guy without photoshop but if he were human I'd say the cover guy was close. The characters are solid consistent and grow on you. I loved the twist at the end with green eyes it adds a new layer I didn't think possible for one like him.I know I'm being vague, but it's enticing right?Melissa has [...]

    20. this book proves that you don't have to be selfish, snarky, sarcastic or rude to be a strong female character. I loved Tess and her kind heart and awesome manners. maybe I'm strange but I really enjoy reading a book where people show gratitude and think of others feelings. I like that it's a stand alone novel. I would have loved an epilogue but my imagination will just have to suffice. was it perfect? no, not even close. did it keep me reading past my bedtime? absolutely! clean read. the pace wa [...]

    21. It Dragged It just went on and on and on until it finally fizzled out.Maybe that's a little harsh. I don't know, I'm pretty uncertain at how I really feel. I'm pretty sure I absolutely adored the idea of the book and the demon male character and I'm pretty sure I absolutely detested the lead female and the actual writing. It was too much of an adult themed story with young immature characters. And did I mention how much it dragged???? It's a shame that I didn't enjoy this book seeing as how much [...]

    22. Touching storyTouch is such a sadly sweet story. Tessa is condemned to choices that she doesn't want to make and then Morik comes along and helps to open her life to other possibilities.Melissa gives us a new story about love and sacrifice. I was a liitle skeptical about a "demon" as a main character, but I fell in love with Morik and you will too.

    23. loved this book, couldn't put it down's different from what I've read before and I really enjoyed ite storyline is very gripping and there's never a dull moment. Will be keeping an eye out for more books from Melissa haag

    24. Lyrical Life Quote - Look's are decieving but a touch is always telling.A fantasy fairytale of difficult choices and strong decisions with a heart warming plot and easy forward flowing chapters. In places the story has a charming nievity mixed with an unwavering passion, and beautifully descriptive writing. Tessa is definitely not an ordinay girl, but one with plenty of character and an unusual life style. Her life path will affect all those who surround her and plenty more besides. The dilemma [...]

    25. I just love Touch! I have lost count on how many times I have read this book. It's one of my go to. Every time I read it I just fall in love with Morik all over again. I laugh, I cry and I enjoy every moment again again and again. Tessa & Morik Le Sigh. It's not your regular YA. Well at least not like those I have read.Beatriz, Tessa's best friend is also that friend we all need in our life. Now go on and one click. It's worth it. By now I have read everything by Melissa. She never disappoin [...]

    26. I would have rated this a 5 but it lacked something at the end. It was very satisfying that he comes back and then it’s over.

    27. What a lovely way to spend a few hours! I'm hooked on Melissa (MJ) Haag. So glad I found her stories! Really cool premise and now I wish there were MORE MORE MORE books in this reality.

    28. Melissa is a great storyteller. I loved the story, the history included, the family connection and slow growing Romance. AND I do love a good stand-alone! Anymore it’s rare to find a book that leaves you feeling complete at the end! It’s always book 1 of . . .

    29. LovelyEven as a first novel, this story is so well written that you know the continuing works of this amazing author will be well worth the purchase. Her characters are distinct and 3 dimensional. Her settings are clear enough to fill out the story but something you don't need to keep track of. The plot was delightfully simple, yet leaves room to wonder.
