    1. I received this book for LOP in exchange for my honest review. In book two we get to follow Phoenix the fire elemental as he has to learn that all of his actions have consequences. Abby an ER physician dedicated to her job, has to learn to let go of the past and to live her life again. Universe wants Phoenix to get close to Abby so that they can save more souls from the fallen angels. I love how the author can actually make you empathize with the fallen angels when they fail Lucifer and he inflic [...]

    2. ***I receive this book in exchange for an honest review from the Lovers of Paranormal Group on *** I like this book better than the 1st one. It was infact true to the nature of the elemental character of this book, fire. I love how Phoenix falls with a human despite his character on the first one hated Brooke who did it first. The book had we going. The human in this story is more active and she actually has her own story. Also, found out about Cristos and I truly felt bad about his outcome. Fro [...]

    3. I enjoyed this second installment of the series much better than the first one. The plot was well-paced, the characters generally sympathetic, and the teenage character not too annoying. It could almost be called a coming-of-age novel except the hero, who badly needs to mature, is several hundred years old. The heroine seemed somewhat stiff at times, but she's understandable and easy to relate to, especially for a workaholic like me. Looking forward to book three!

    4. This is the second book in Calloway's Elemental Clan series, the first one being Water's Blood. The elementals are beings imbued with spirits of air, water, fire and earth, who battle against the Minare, or Fallen Angels whose whole purpose in life is to corrupt and control. In this book we continue our relationship with Phoenix who we met briefly in the first book, a stubborn hot-head who begins as a bit of an ass. But I say that in a nice way because Phoenix learns to actually care about human [...]

    5. **** ARC received in exchange for honest review w/ lop ****This is the second book in this series and you should read the first prior to this so you better understand the elementals and fallen angels.I gave this four stars but really i would say 3.5. ONLY because i wanted more, in the first book we got to see all four elementals working together and got a feel for it in this book we don't get that. This book follows Phoenix which is the fire elemental for the US who is protecting the East Cost o [...]

    6. After reading the authors 1st book in the series, Water's Blood, I was very interested in reading the next chapter in the Fallen Angels series! Phoenix is a temperamental yet quick witted fire elemental who has vowed to protect the humans, even though he won't allow himself to get close to them Until he meets Abby. Abby is an ER doctor who has no problem going toe-to-toe with Phoenix, and she will stop at nothing to get to the truth! Although parts of the story didn't always "mesh" at times and [...]

    7. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the “Lovers of Paranormal” Group on I enjoyed this book. It was an imaginative story with wonderful characters and a very fast read. I enjoyed Phoenix's personal growth. He came a long way in becoming a better person and he learned to appreciate that his attitude had consequences. Abby is a strong character but there is some weakness in her personal life which makes her realistic. I loved the bad guys and the punishment that get's di [...]

    8. New York just became the toughest place to live. Literally.A rash of suicides have plagued the Big Apple, and Phoenix knows his arch enemy Carlyle is behind it. Things are heating up and that's when he meets Dr. Abby. If he thought he was fiery-literally since he's a fire elemental-he's about to get schooled. Abby is a firecracker, and this isn't insta-love. These two work to find their way to each other, all while dodging what goes bump in the night.Raging Fire will take you on a paranormal tou [...]

    9. **I received this book in exchange for an honest review. LoP, Lovers of Paranormal**This book was somewhat hard for me to get into. I didn't read Book 1 of this series, so I wasn't sure if I needed to. I liked the characters somewhat as a they started out in the story. A few times they were portrayed as immature. The story line was pretty good as far as good and evil go. I'd still recommend this as an add to your tbr list.

    10. Actually finished this last week and thoughly enjoyed this latest book in the series. Phoenix is a very 'human' character. Check this series out if you haven't already.

    11. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through the group Lovers of Paranormal (LoP) and the Read2Review program. Thank you to the group and to the author for allowing me to read this!**2.5 to 3 stars**I signed up to read and review this book when I saw it was available because I had recently won the first book in a blog giveaway and was eager to read them back to back. Unfortunately, I did not really care for book 1, WATER'S BLOOD, very much but on the bright side, I DI [...]

    12. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review for LoP. The author has some interesting ideas about good and evil and does a good job describing New York City the setting of the story. Good are the Elementals gifted with a talent for an element (earth, wind, fire, water) from the creator and put on Earth to live among humans and protect them from evil. The Evil Fallen Angels work for Lucifer to corrupt humans however in this story they play out like the 3 Stooges. Good and Evil are not [...]

    13. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review - Lovers of Paranormal.I was so looking forward to this book that I think I may have set my sights too high. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one in the series, Water's Blood.A few things just didn't sit right for me this time. Phoenix was good and the character well written but the Fallen Angels just didn't do it for me this time. I also missed Cristos from the first book and didn't like where he ended up, surely his attempts at 'good [...]

    14. I started reading the first quarter and scanned through the ending. It was hard for me to get into the book probably because I couldn't really connect to the characters. Although what kept me going was the story flow was interesting and I do love reading about elementals. The relationship between Abby and Phoenix was a bit slow and dragging but they are meant to be together plus they seriously combust. I just find Abby's character too much especially in the first part when she wanted Phoenix to [...]

    15. I was given this book for an honest review for Lovers of paranormal. While i enjoyed this book and I did like Phoenix and Abby's relationship at times Abby seems too immature for being a doctor. While Elaine Calloway did a fantastic job describing the characters and the city, at points the book dragged on just a little for me. I will re-read it in the future to see if I get really into next time. I feel that i need to read the first book in order to see how some of the characters are the way they [...]

    16. I received this book in exchange for an honest review Lovers of Paranormal (LoP)Ah……the story of Phoenix. The guy has attitude and is the Fire Elemental, but does not know how to talk with humans, especially women. He has to eat crow and get advice on humans from Brooke (the water elemental). I found this story very interesting. The things that happen to Phoenix, granted they are mostly his fault, makes for a good story line. The sense of Good vs. Evil and a strong moral message is what I to [...]

    17. I loved this book! Phoenix, the main character, is someone I identified with easily. He's hot tempered, quick witted and he is quick to react to situations. This book also had heavy suspense, intense scenes particularly as we get toward the end and the fight scenes. I also liked Phoenix and Abby's relationship; that was a draw for me to read this book as well. I enjoyed watching Phoenix grow and mature throughout the book. He began to be more aware of human feelings and emotions, which was intere [...]

    18. A shiver and a snicker and a paranormal world--that eerily resembles the world we live in. This is what this author brings to the table in RAGING FIRE, Book 2 of her Elemental Clan Series.I keep looking over my shoulder, trying to isolate her Elementals in my day to day life, and I'm very glad they would condsider me one of the good guys!
