    1. Ok so this has to be one of the best, if not the best, story I have read in a long time! I read this in bed last night and stayed awake to finish it. It made me cry a few times, but in a book that is good. The first part of the book is a sweet love story between Ivy and Walt. The way they meet is so simple, yet the way the author weaves the meeting and the conversation afterwards is so much more than simple. The speed in which these two fall for each other is done just right, and the way the rela [...]

    2. Finished Charlie & Pearl and loved it so much, I stalked the author and learned this book When Stars Collide was available & immediately started it & finished it the same day. An emotional story that had me utterly shocked 30% in!!! I hated what happened and how Ivy "dealt" but unless you were actually living her life, really, you couldn't blame her. And Waltgh loved him!!! So far, between the authors two books, I love the sweet story & romance but I especially love her character [...]

    3. I really enjoyed this book and read it in two sittings, again Tammy knows how to write beautiful books with heart touching subjects. This story takes you over a passage of a lifetime. With fun, tears and laughter and hoping that when the stars do collide it is for the right reasons.I have now read and rated all of Tammy's books and awaiting more.

    4. I had only literally finished Tammy Robinson's first book, Charlie and Pearl (which I incidentally loved) when I embarked on the journey of her second novel, When Stars Collide. So what is it that appeals to me? The genre I would suggest is new to me but it's not the genre that envelopes and holds me. Honestly, it's Tammy's characters, their 'rawness', their honesty, their love, their commitment and their humanity. Tammy's work with this novel (as another has mentioned) isn't totally flawless, a [...]

    5. Yet another 5 star read. I don't know how the author does it but each book is just soo good. The book makes you feel like you've been on an emotional roller coaster. I feel like I've gone through every emotion possible. A must read.

    6. Remember finding your first love, and the excitement that came with it? Remember not wanting to be apart from them and your family realising that you were growing up before their very eyes? Aw, a love story! A love story of Ivy and Walt to be precise. Two people falling head over heels in love with each other, excited for their future and being together…if only it was that simple. If only things were as straight forward as being in love and being allowed to get on with it. Never is, is it? Itâ [...]

    7. I loved this story and will definitely be reading more Tammy Robinson's books. Beautiful characters, an inspiring story and brilliantly written.

    8. What a emotional ride reading this book was. From overjoyment that Ivy found someone of her own, to excitement of a vacation trip before her sister's wedding and then total devastation. The author really leaves the reader invested in what happens to Ivy and those around her early on. I enjoyed this story and absolutely love the title.

    9. Another beautiful book by this author. Makes me want to go to New Zealand. Beautiful story line and characters.

    10. Beautiful, well written story that has you smiling one minute and in tears the next. Fantastic. read in one sitting.

    11. This is the second book I have read from this Author and again, I wasn't disappointed. The book is written beautifully and it pulled at my heartstrings a few times. Ivy and Walt fall in love the first time they meet, they have known each other for a few days when Ivy has to go away. While she's away something terrible happens which changes her life forever. She deals with this the best way she can, by travelling and trying to forget and leaves Walt behind. We learn of her experiences and feeling [...]

    12. Recommend!!!I have mixed feelings about this book. It started off so beautifully, as two people met and fell in love. Usually I dislike books where the couple fall in love at first sight, but the author made it seem so natural and normal that you had to believe in it. Then a terrible tragedy tears them apart, and you keep hoping she will finally come to her senses and realize you can't escape grief. You can only try to get through one day, one breath at a time, but it takes ten years for her to [...]

    13. This is the second book I have read by Tammy Robinson, and I look forward to reading the rest of her books. This book gave me shivers, made me smile, laugh, sniffle, cry, and hold my breath. Only an amazing author can write a story that makes you experience a whole host of feelings and emotions the way Tammy does. When Stars Collide is a story of love, loss, joy and sadness. It centres on Ivy as the happiest time in her life changes in the blink of an eye. Changes in a way that few people could [...]

    14. A truly beautifully written book that I highly recommend you all read. I'm a sceptic of such intense love and romance, but you can't help but be sucked into the story when it's so vividly described. I felt I was on the beach and watching it unfold for real. Tragedies occur and are dealt with in such a raw and honest way that tears fell from my eyes the whole way through reading part two of the book. I loved the way Tammy Robinson cleverly wrote how time passed. I read it because I loved Charlie [...]

    15. I finished this book in a couple of hours and I know it'll stay with me. I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat, I wanted to get to the end but I also didn't as that would mean the story would end! For an author to elicit such emotions in readers is a rare and beautiful talent. It deserves more than 5 stars. The writing is beautiful and flows well. I felt as though I was there with the characters, walking on the beach and watching the story unfold. The book drew me in and kept me hooke [...]

    16. OMG, 5* plus from me!!!!!! I thought I would read this book to give me a break from blood, guts, gore and murders, give my little heart a rest!!! Not the case, this book had me holding my breath, crying throughout, and not daring to breathe!!!!! What a beautiful book, so moving, and tragic, yet happy I devoured this book in two days, and I couldn't put it down. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful book. I felt every emotion, and really felt my heart sink, beat and race. A MUST READ!!!! Well don [...]

    17. A wonderful heartwarming love storyWhen star collide dreams really can come true. 18. The aspect that I particularly enjoy about Tammy Robinson's writing is that her stories are not just about relationships between people, but are also about relationships with places. I got to gulp down lungfuls of estuary air with 'When Stars Collide', as well as the perfume of gardens and markets. The relationships in this novel are well-drawn too - not just between Ivy and Walt, the couple at its heart - but also across the generations and a whole community. Loved it.

    19. Love, Love, Love!OH MY! This story is truly heart wrenching and yet beautiful. I felt I really connected to these characters, and Grandad Leo bears a strong resemblance to my grandfather, with his jovial mannerisms and full belly Santa Claus ho-ho-ho laugh which made me smile. Absolutely brilliant work Tammy!

    20. Loved the storyline. Although I did find Ivy to be a little self centred and childish. Grief is a really hard thing to write about however, especially on this scale. The 'Part 2' i didnt like at all off this book. I wouldve sooner read a story then a pile of letters & emails only from Ivys side. I have taken greatly to this authors writing however and will be onto her next book asap.

    21. I am not a big fan of romance but thought I would give this a try and was surprised to have loved it! There wasn’t a lot of waffle/padding, every line mattered and I whizzed through the book in no time. Really loved the correspondence/letters. I will certainly read more from this author and this genre as a whole.

    22. This is the fourth of Tammy's books that I've read and she never disappoints. It always amazes me that someone can write such totally different books. Can't wait for the next of Tammy's books.

    23. I loved this book, it took me on an emotional roller coaster and this story was very close to bringing me to tears. No book has ever done that to me before. I highly recommend this.

    24. The only reason I gave this book a 4 star rating because although it was a lovely read it was also kinda predictable. I did enjoy it though :)

    25. 3.5 stars really but gave it the 4 as I think if you are a romance book sort of person you will love this book.

    26. this was a beautiful read. sad and lovely at the same time. A definite 5 * from me and would recommend to anyone

    27. Another truly wonderful love story by this amazing author. I read this book in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. A well deserved 5 stars.

    28. This is another great book my talented kiwi author Tammy Robinson. It funny and an easy read. We all know characters like these in our own lives.
