    1. I laughed, I cried (god i cried for tahk) and I had butterflies in my stomach!!! This book made me pass by all the colors of the spectrum and I loved it!!! I couldn't put it down!!! Raven and Sawyer welcome to my favorite couple's list!!!! Thank you for the opportunity to read this book it was my first romance in a war situation and i must say that it will please both romance and action readers!!! Fairly well written with amazing and realistic characters this book will put you physically and emo [...]

    2. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this book. I finished in almost 2 days. I love it to because I was a navy corpsman for 4 years. Live it highly recommended !!!

    3. Ok, now I am going to sound like a hypocrite here. I hate the F bomb. But in this book of war and constant stress, I understand why they say it so much. I still hate it but I get it.Love in a war zone. Both Raven and Sawyer or Doogie (military names), know there is no place for love in a combat zone. But the heart wants what the heart wants! Sawyer or Doogie is a 22 year old genius who has already had 2 years of med school in her back pocket. She has been busy and has not had much dating since s [...]

    4. [review also posted on my blog beentherereadthatreviewedthebo]Before I started, I wasn’t really convinced 1000 Sleepless Nights would be my kind of book. Not that I don’t like a romance but I didn’t think I was going to overly enjoy it. However, I was really pleasantly surprised and found myself enthralled.I loved Connie Ann Michael’s writing; the way the characters were written, the way she drew me right into a story I wasn’t convinced I’d like and the way she wrote such a heart-wre [...]

    5. This was a slow starter for me, i felt myself getting bored and i didnt really fancy sticking at it, but i had committed to it. So, we follow the story of Emme (Sawyer) in Afghanistan. That part didnt really appeal to me, what did was the premise of a bloody good love story. This story tore my heart apart slightly. Some of the words, ill admit i didnt understand, and had to ask the Mr. I had no problems however picturing the scenes that where taking place. Once we learnt of Ravens feelings for Em [...]

    6. Great story so why am I struggling to put into words how I feel for this review. I read this not having heard of the author or the book. It landed in my email for a review. Mention the word Afghanistan & everyone thinks war & death. I went into this book hoping I'd 'enjoy' it. I had to put reality aside & read this as it is meant to be read As a story. Ok so having said that what did I think of this book It was fantastic. One of my top ten reads of this year. It had me biting my chee [...]

    7. Braine's Talk Supe reviewRiveting. I guess that's the most appropriate word to describe Connie Ann Michael's military romance, 1000 SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. I've read a few military romances and most of them are not set in the middle of the Afghan war. This was dead center of that and I felt the sense of urgency that Emma and the rest of the characters are feeling on a daily basis. That carpe diem attitude because who knows, you might find yourself blown to pieces because of landmines and other attacks [...]

    8. 1000 Sleepless Nights by Connie Ann MichaelThis is the first time reading a romance book that takes place in the middle of a war zone, but the cover intrigued me so I signed up for the blog tour. I was really surprized how much I enjoyed it, finding love in the middle of a war and who doesn’t love reading about a strong female heroin. This book was not only a great read it made me laugh and cry, I absolutely loved Connie Ann Michaels writing and really hope we get another book soon. The characte [...]

    9. Doogie is the medic for her group of men. Raven is her commander. It's not right on so many levels, but in extreme circumstances is it possible to find something real?I loved that even though Raven is a hard ass military guy he is able to show his emotions. Doogie is a bit on the naive side, but she has a big heart and puts everything into taking care of her men. Good military romance.Provided for review through Book Junky Reading Club by author.

    10. 1,000 Sleepless Nights by Connie Ann Michael is the story of finding love in the most unlikely places and unlikely circumstance, the middle of a war zone.- See more at: druesrandomchatter
