    1. I thought this book was funny. After Jamie Grimm being declared Funniest Kid in New York State Jamie is ready to go to the national semi finals competiton. Everything seemed to be going right for Jamie until his best friends mom has cancer and Joey getting into a lot of trouble at school. Then Jamie's uncle Frank gets a heart attack so he can't make it to the semi finals with Jamie and he loves his uncle so it was hard for him to leave without him. I really liked that no matter how bad he did in [...]

    2. The eleven year old who read this cannot believe he has to wait for the next book to release because he wants to read it right now. He devoured both books in the series in three days. I think he would rate it pretty high.

    3. I received I Even Funnier a few weeks ago to review. At the time, I wasn't really sure if I would enjoy it or not, but after reading the first book I was feeling less weary towards it. I was worried that the I Funny books would be too "middle-grade" with immature humour and no depth, but I surprisingly enjoyed it! And in my opinion, the sequel to I Funny, I Even Funnier, was even better. In I Even Funnier, Jamie is preparing for the semi-finals in Las Vegas for The Planet's Funniest Kid Comic Con [...]

    4. I loved this book. it was soooo funny. It gives you lots of giggles and lots of funny parts and has good detail too. Anyone who likes to giggle should read this book

    5. He is trying to be the funniest kid comic on the earth. He hits a few bumps on the way thare like what happens with his uncle Frankie. The idea of the book is to never give up.

    6. I even Funnier A kid named Jammie Grimm won the state Funniest Kids Comic contest. When he got back he started right away to find new supplies/jokes. He needed to have some people help him he was not going to be able to get this done without the help of his friends, and his uncle. He has some trouble though with his guardians brother a bully to him [His parents are not alive]. Then he goes on to regionals and he finds out that he will have some really good competition. One of them was his favori [...]

    7. I thought this book was better than the last book in the series. It has old jokes to new jokes that give this book a five star.I would put this book in the humor section with a kind of adventures felling. This book has good details with jokes in the mix so that's cool. This story is about a kid who wins this thing called the funniest kid comic and people think he's not that funny any more so he want's to regain his confidence.

    8. I loved this book even better than the first book, it had a great ending. I love how the character is relates to how middle school is for everyone, the experience he takes out of going to comedy contests and with friends shows you how you should look at events that maybe didn't go your way with a gleam in your eye and a smile on your face. Jamie Grimm is a kid who is stuck in a wheelchair, without his mom or dad, but he always has a smile. I would recommend this book for someone who wants to hav [...]

    9. the book I even funnier is about the main character Jamie grim and his hard time in middle school.Although he has friends named pierce, gilda, and Gaynor they don't do much to stop bullingnce his family died in a car accident,he lived but his legs got paralyzed so thats a big target.his aunt takes care of him and now his cousin became his half brother and a big bully. He becomes a big target not just because he is paralyzed, but he is a comedian.Over all it is a good book and I recommend the book t [...]

    11. This was really funny book that had lot of jokes and funny humor in it. And I would recommend it to anyone that likes funny books and is ready for a good laugh.

    12. Much better than I expected! I'm always afraid that middle grades books that claim to be funny will be filled with crude humor (aka fart jokes). And I won't claim that they're weren't any fart jokes in this book BUT there was actual content too. I enjoyed it and some parts were really funny! :) . AR 4.4

    13. In this book I even funnier by James Patterson. It talks about this Jamie .A middle school boy . Jamie love comedians so he started to be one .Jamie is paralyzed . Jamie has a brother Steve.Steve calls Jamie crip .Jamie friends are Joey and Jimmy . Jamie Joey and Jimmy hanged out at his uncle's restaurant . As the got along his day Then he thought that he should be a competitive comedian . But there is one problem, Jamie gets nerves a lot . So he trains to not get freeze on stage . Then the comp [...]

    14. Following up the #1 New York Times bestseller "I Funny, "I Even Funnier" or as I can say, the most funniest book I have read this year. Taking a more different path from any James Patterson book, it actually is about an uprising comedian, Jamie Grimm. In my opinion, I would rate this book a 5/5! The plot was really interesting and unique. "I Even Funnier" shows originality throughout this book. Name a book that is written about a boy that is handicapped and is aiming to be the greatest stand up [...]

    15. After being declared “Funniest Kid in New York State” in I Funny (Book 1), Jamie Grimm is ready to go to the national semi-final comedy competition! Jamie, along with Gilda Gold, Joey Gaynor & Jimmy Pierce, is ready to make you laugh until you bust a gut! Jamie is totally psyched about the competition, but everything seems to be going wrong. Joey’s mom is dealing with having cancer and after getting into MAJOR trouble at school, Joey ends up having to move in with Jamie’s super-nice [...]

    16. James Patterson's book “I even Funnier” is an amazingly funny book that teaches life lessons while telling jokes. This is an awesome book because it is really funny. Before you read this book you will need to read I Funny first to understand it. Although at some points in the book it is a little sad but the funniness out weighs the bad. The theme of the book I think would be never give up on your dream but if someone needs you you help them first. This is a good theme for the book because yo [...]

    17. I think it was funny, amazing and exciting. If anyone who needs a good laugh read this book. This book is about when the main character "Jamie" goes through this wild adventure with his friends and uncle.Jamie goes into a contest to see if he is the funniest kid.If you wonder what happened in the past that made him have a wheelchair read the first book, but I am spoiling it so this is what happened.Jamie and his family was going to a school at night, while they were on the road a truck came out of no [...]

    18. This book is funnier than the first one for a lot reasons But there is a lot of things that happen in this book for example when In this follow up to the middle schooler Jamie Grimm has big dreams of being the best stand-up comic in the world--and he won't let the fact that he's wheelchair-bound stand in his way. After winning the New York state finals in the Planet's Funniest Kid Comic Contest, Jamie's off to Boston to compete in the national semi-finals. But when one of his best buddies runs i [...]

    19. I like this book and I would recommend it for kids who want something fun to read. I would recommend this book to kids who like realistic fiction. I like this book because it is fun to read and it is a little funny. This book is about Jamie, a kid who is trying to win the Planet's Funniest Kid Comic Contest and after winning the New York state finals, Jamie's off to Boston to compete in the national semi-finals. But when one of his best buddies runs into trouble at school and a sudden family heal [...]

    20. I even Funnier by James Patterson is one of my favorite books ever. In this book there is a couple of major turning points. Uncle Frankie had a heart attack and that shook Jamie to his core. Gaynor’s mother has cancer and no one knew about it until they figured out that Gaynor was stealing money from other students lockers. Last but not least Jamie had to quit the worlds funniest comic competition because of Uncle Frankie's heart attack but later received a letter to come back and perform at t [...]

    21. I thought the book was quite good. I like the author's craft and the use of dialogue. However, I think the book could be better if it wasn't as similar to the first book. I think it would be better if it had more differences because then it wouldn't be so unsurprising. Yet, I still liked the book because the author did a pretty good job of adding unexpected events to the story. Despite the fact the book had the same concept, the author still gave it a few surprises. Overall, I would recommended [...]

    22. This book was great. It captures the struggles of Jamie as recently winning some competitions as Best Kid Comic. These struggles include some kids even wanting to challenge him, thinking they're better than him. The book includes several sub-plots like the romance, his own friend's struggles and even a surprising twist with his uncle, all while he is trying to prepare for The Funniest Kid on the Planet competition. The book has some Laugh out Loud moments, I highly suggest this book for any pers [...]

    23. With this book, I found a few parts funny. I would've expected it to be funnier. I know they there are 3 books in this series by Patterson in case you like this book. I would recommend this book to people who laugh for everything. But, think it's funny that I didn't love this book since a lot of people think I laugh for everything.(Randall) I would definitely say that anyone could read this book even though I didn't like it 100%. This book attracted me by the cover, that's just me.

    24. If was obviously for much younger kids (I'm in grade 8) and I read it in like a day and a half, but I loved it. I don't know why but Jamie Grimm just stuck with me all day, I was always thinking about him, like he was a real person that I knew. I really like that because that says to me he is a strong character. If you like short, funny, but emotionally moving books, I would definitely recommend this one. (-:

    25. I even funnier by James Patterson is realistic fiction. The problem is that Jamie is scared on stage. Will he faint? The main characters are Jamie, his family, Gilda, Gaynor, Pierce and Stevie. people who like Realistic fiction and funny stuff should read this book. Jamie is in middle school. (Just look at the cover). Jamie is excited to do the comedy show. Uncle Frankie is a main character to. I like being funny to.

    26. With the exception of Harry Potter series (because I've never loved a kids series more and don't think I ever can), these I Funnier books are the best! I read them with my son, and they are heartwarming, funny, have great messages for kids but in an entertaining value. He LOVES them as much as I do. Such a nice change of pace from the Diary of Wimpy Kid books (which I enjoy for entertainment purposes; there are no deep messages for kids in them). Highly recommend!!!
