    1. This is without a doubt the worst play I've ever read. It's pretentious bullshit. I most especially disliked all of the bollocks the chorus came out with. Ugh. Never touching anything by this author again. Shame. I used to like her poetry.

    2. An excellent if saddening take on life, the unhappiness with what you have and yet not having the courage to jump and sort it.Three actor play with a spectre of the fourth who in a way should be a catalyst for change and would be in any other play but here shows nothing changes. Tony has the ideas from the others of what he could have been or what his future may have been if he hadn't died but somehow those don't push the others.A wasted generation. Wish I could have seen this when it was on sta [...]

    3. Kate Tempest writes with such brutal, beautiful simplicity, using rhythm & meter incredibly effectively to build story & tension into the play. All of these skills aďd an extra special sprinkle of grunge magic to the pages, allowing characters to develop unique voices that help them leave the pages. Kate Tempest has fast become a favourite.

    4. Wasted is a play by performance poet Kate Tempest, a story about three people who are wasting their lives and undergoing a group epiphany on the anniversary of an old friend’s death. It’s pretty good, particularly the choruses which feature Tempest’s poetry, but I was expecting more because of her usual high standard. Still worth reading, though!

    5. Not very impressed with this play - I don't know if the characters are meant to feel exaggerated on purpose, but I did not like any of the three at all, and could not imagine three people really like this. The chorus was interesting, and I imagine that it could have been excellent if seen live. But as a play to be read as is, neither the plot nor the language was anything very special for me.
