    1. Review also posted at“…where Shattered Soul was exhilarating in its storyline, Lost Souls’ strength was in its gut-wrenching and heart piercing events. Ms. Devlin had me in tears, and my heart still aches remembering what had happened. I have nothing but praises for this book, simply a job well done by Ms. Devlin.” ~Under the CoversI have been waiting for this book since reading the first installment, Shattered Souls early this year. I rated that book 5/5 stars and added to UTC’s Top P [...]

    2. Reluctant witch, Cait, and her PI partner, Jason, are on a fairly mundane case trying to photograph a cheating wife with her boy toy. Following her into a seedy hotel the cheating wife disappears before their eyes in one moment then reappears to Cait as a ghost in the next. Suddenly Cait’s simple case of infidelity ties in with the local PD’s case of murder. She and Jason are asked to help with another “Full Moon Case” with her sexy ex-husband and current boyfriend, Sam. She even finds h [...]

    3. This series must be read in order. The first book is Shattered Souls (A Caitlyn O'Connell Novel). This is the second book.Cait has issues. She tried to turn her back on her heritage and her powers after her mother's untimely death due to a botched spell. Not that that really worked She became cop and everything seemed fine apart from the fact that she got all the "full moon cases" and life was looking up until she needed alcohol to dull the voices of the dead She lost her job and her husband but [...]

    4. This is the second book in the Caitlyn O'Connell series. The first book, Lost Souls, in no way prepared me for the storm that was coming with this book. This book didn't just take us to the next level, it basically leapt ahead several, skipping over them without warning. So Caitlyn's secret 'woo woo' life has been revealed to the most important and influential men in her life: her ex-husband Sam, her current PI partner, Jason and her ex-boss on the police force, Leland. They are slowly coming to [...]

    5. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end; fast paced, great spooky tale and above all I love the main protagonists Cait and ex-husband/current lover Sam Pierce. These two have amazing chemistry and the author does a great job portraying their tormented and intense relationship from when they first met on the job, fell in love and the subsequent breakdown of their marriage caused by Cait's inability to handle her magic/spirit/psychic side, which drove her to heavy drinking and shuttin [...]

    6. Delilah Devlin has another winner on her hands in her latest book in the Caitlyn O’Connell series. With its many laugh out loud moments, the sexy luvin between Cait and Sam, Cait’s continuing battle to stay sober along with fighting demons this book rocks from beginning to end. This time all the spooky happenings go on in a hotel were bodies are being found in the walls that have been aged. Seems the demon has attached himself to the hotel and Cait is asked to help again to try and stop the [...]

    7. It's not often a follow-up book equals or surpasses the first, this one however manages it. The action, suspense and chemistry between the two main characters is just as good as the first book. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

    8. Good bookit's been a while since I've read a book about witchcraft/mystery, so this was a fresh change. Now, back to serial killers

    9. Can I just say that I love this UF series by Delilah Devlin! Cait is an awesome heroine & I love Sam to death :)

    10. This sequel was good, if not better, than the first book. Cait and Sam have to catch a demon who inhabits the walls of an old hotel. He also has an incubus to help him catch his victims. Cait is trying to build trust with Sam, but doesn't share everything with him, and he tries to give her his support. The s shock and sadness in the book are well done, and the twists to solve the crime are interesting. I also really like Morin in this book, and Sylvia is hilarious. Fun series, hope there are mor [...]

    11. Off The SauceOn The MagicThis series must be read in order. The first book is Shattered Souls (A Caitlyn O'Connell Novel Book 1). This is the second book. This is another awesome installment in the Caitlyn O'Connell series. Cait and Sam are still testing the waters of their newly renewed relationship and Cait is trying her best to stop hiding things and start opening up all the while trying to make Sam proud and stay sober. A new infidelity case for her PI business turns out to be more than she b [...]

    12. Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books1 star This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars I really [...]

    13. True enjoyable Mystery!I really enjoyed this book! The mystery was intriguing, as it kept me guessing throughout the book, until the very end. Now, the love story, tore my heart apart, I definitely did not see the curve ball at all. It definitely drew emotion out of me. I guess the shock made it more emotional. None the less, I was relieved to get the happy ever after I was rooting for, I think would have held on to the grief if I didn't. Ms. Delving really did it with this one, as well as the f [...]

    14. The second book in the series just a good as the first. Caitlyn is flawed. While she's a smart woman who knows what she wants, she gets tripped up by her past imperfections. Her ex-husband makes a perfect foil since his flaw is his wanting her.Don't listen to this book if you don't like sex scenes. Devlin doesn't hold back on showing the physical attraction her characters have for one another--and occasionally the heat that happens when they fight. The story is solid with a really nasty demon ant [...]

    15. Enjoyable book. We see more or Cait and Sam rather than a new couple as many sequels do. There is an interesting dynamic between Cait & Sam, her ex-partnerandex-husband. And Lost Souls moved their new, after divorce, relationship further towards possible reconciliation and we saw more of Sam's motivations. The new "full-moon case" they had was a doozy and not something I had ever read before. It is kind of nice reading something other than weres and vamps.

    16. Way too much sex for meI enjoyed the occult storyline, but kept losing the thread of that and I was disappointed in the shallowness of the character development because of the attention spent on the sex act. I believe it it takes a very good craftsman to handle all three concepts well and Ms. Delvin is not one of them. I will not be reading any more by this author.

    17. this one was free from the Kindle Lending Library so I got it to see if the author managed to develop the good ideas from the first book into something better, but she didn't, so I'm done with this series now, same old, same old.

    18. I want more! This is just the kind of book that I have been looking for! But there's only 2 in series so far. Cait is a witch and an ex-cop. Her friends & the saucy Sam help her do battle w the demons they find. It was fun, scary and I couldn't put it down.

    19. Love these books, Cait is flawed and not a damsel needing a man to save her. The type that would send you mental but you wouldn't be without. Looking forward to book 3

    20. Worth a readStill worth a read but did prefer the last book ,but I will still carry on reading the series as I enjoy the characters .

    21. Part of me thought that it wasn't as good as the first book, but part of me thought it was Similar premise, only this time, no Nathan, and more Sam.
