    1. MOST IMMATURE BOOK I'VE EVER READ!!! It sucked for me.I was so going to dump this book's ass when I was like 25% in but its my freakin' obsessive curious nature that didn't let me. So I had to finish it! The lil speed bump in the book was like FORCED and everything about the book was weird The overall story was okish! The book has SOOOO MANY grammatical and spelling errors! to instead of two, miss instead of mess.Author get a new editor.I read many YA, but this was like immature adult! The chick i [...]

    2. This Beautiful Thing (Young Love #1) by Amanda Heath has a sexy, eye catching cover, interesting blurb and has been in ’s top 100 romance for weeks now. With over 1,000 reviews on , I decided to give this one a go. This Beautiful Thing should be titled- This Beautiful Trainwreck of Horrible Writing. Another case of a self published book with no editing to speak of. It makes me wonder if the author has any real basic writing skills because the amount of misspellings, lack of punctuation or inco [...]

    3. I laughed. I cried (more than I like admitting). I got mad. I sighed in relief. This book wrung a lot out of me!!! First, you have Teagan, the protagonist. Who is blunt, and has a bit of a temper. But at least she doesnt pretend she doesnt. Lol. She hasnt had a very average upbringing, yet she is surrounded by loving, often over bearring siblings and family. Then there is Declan. *swoon* Dec has had the opposite of a loving family. He took on a lot of responsibility after it became apparent his [...]

    4. Teagan is an freshman at the college her twin brothers attend. Jaden and Caden are protective of their little sister, even though she is not much younger than they are. She is rather inexperienced and doesn't date much because her brothers tend to intimidate any guy she is interested it. One night, Teagan decides to go to a party with her BFF/roommate Grace. She meets a guy after punching this guys ex in the face, they hook up. She falls asleep in his room and wakes up freaking out, so she bolts [...]

    5. I was disappointed in this book. I liked the idea of it and thought is was going to be a cute read. All this book gave me was stress. The book has an interesting premise as Teagan is a bastard and has to fit in with the family she didn't know about. She has overprotective brothers that beat the crap out of any boy who went within a metre of her thus she hasn't got a boyfriend. The book did not make sense, it felt so unrealistic. Within the first few pages we sort out her family problems although [...]

    6. To be honest I hate leaving negative reviews. They make me feel bad. After all even if I don't like a book someone spent a lot of time and energy on it. The author, editor, publisher. Even if its an independently published ebook the author spent a lot of time on it. Its got to hurt when they read reviews and see that people didn't like it. So while I try to be honest about how I felt about a book I always remember that it was something really important to someone else.I really didn't like this b [...]

    7. This is a fantastic start to a new series. Loved it. Loved it. I cried at some point and laughed a lot. The characters were real. And the relationship felt real. Loved both Dec and Teagan. Loved the whole family, in fact. Will read the next one. Looking forward to it. Ms. Heath has a fan. Definitely recommend!

    8. This Beautiful Thing tells the story of Teagan, a girl with a controlling family who don’t really let her have too much of a wild life. She even goes to college really close to the family so she couldn’t even move states. It is clear from the get go that Teagan is quite the quiet teenager and doesn’t have a whole lot of life experience. Her roommate Grace drags her out to parties for a bit of excitement. At one party in particular, right at the beginning of the book, Teagan gets a bit drun [...]

    9. 2.5 - 3 stars ”This beautiful thing in my arms is the only reason I will ever need to be happy.”Sooo much promise, but kinda fell short for me, Teagan, nineteen, is the baby of the family, her chastity belt is in the form of her twin brothers Jaden and Caden. She meets Declan, football-quarterback with a body of a God; they meet and fool around with at his party, problem starts when she realizes theat Declan is bromance buddies with Jaden, but it's too late, the connection they have is one-o [...]

    10. For all you strict avid book readers, it's OK to skip "some pages". It's something the new generation does. You pass a few pages without reading them, (well, in my case more like 50, read a page and skip a gazillion more, but that'll be explained afterwards)Yay. ''Grammer'' umm, grammar, ughh i'm confused. Was it "grammar" or "grammer"?? Who cares?! That's not the point now. The point is the coma (no pun intended!?). People need to catch their breath, in this case my bearings while reading. You [...]

    11. I really wanted to like this book, really! and I hate to write bad reviews but I can't help myself with this one. The story had so much potential and the characters seemed really cool in the beginning. I felt like the characters had some major flaws in the writing. There were moments in the book that seemed to be really forced as if it was trying to be genuine, but just didn't succeed. I won't say what parts those are in case someone will read it but those moments just seemed so fake. I also bel [...]

    12. I have to say i loved this book! The flow of story was great and how it weaved!Teagen never thought she would *almost* loose her virginity to a guy in a part where she is drunk and that guy happens to be your brother's best friend - Declan. When Declan sees Teagenhe knows it will be far more than a one night stand for himbut her being his best friend's sister is what he thought to happen. With overprotecting brothers Teagen and Declan try to keep their relationship hidden and going. But one mistake [...]

    13. 3.75 stars for keeping me interested even though I had a lot of issues with itThis book is not at all what I thought it would be. Unfortunately, that is not a good thing. First, I apparently have the unedited version which is in serious need of repair. Second, at this point my biggest issue is the dialogue. Specifically, the guys. They sound like girls. No joke. There's a conversation between the main guy Declan and his bff, who also happens to be the LL's brother, Jaden, and for a second I thou [...]

    14. I feel absolutely horrible that I'm writing this review. I always, always give books a chance if they have promise. And besides the utterly absurd use of the word 'friggin' within the first two pages of this book, there was nothing that really turned me off from the bookexcept for one problem that blew all possible issues out of the water. SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. I think it's great that someone who loves writing will go on to do so as his or her career, whether or not it seems realistic. And a lot [...]

    15. When I read the byline on , I thought the plot seemed interesting enough. I also saw that it was the authors debut novel. I'm all for supporting a new up and coming writer so I bit the bullet and bought the book. I wasn't completely dissatisfied. The storyline was still interesting and the sexual chemistry was hot but it was hard to get past all the typos which set off the language making it difficult to read at times. However, I did see the authors blog and read that she will be re-editing due [...]

    16. I didn't know why I decided to read "This Beautiful Thing" to begin with. This book was beyond suck. It cut my wings; drained all of my positive emotion; and the worst part was it slaughtered the butterflies in my stomach. My feeling for this book was nothing but disappointment. The story of "This Beautiful Thing" was so bored. It also was the most immature book I've ever read. I wanted to stop reading it when I'd done almost half of the book but I had to finish what I started (even if it sucked [...]

    18. I struggled with this one because the heroine was so immature. In the plot line many of the situations felt rushed, over exaggerated and needed more development. There were lots of characters, probably since it is the first book in the series, but I didn't feel I got to know them and sometimes I would have to think back "now who is this and how are they related?" It was an okay read, but I probably won't go forward in the series. VERY HOT COVER!!

    19. A story about soul mates, a great read with a great story line and amazing characters. Short sweet sexy but also had a 'real life' feel to it. Would definitely look out for more books by this author. "she is the heart of my heart and the mate to my soul".

    20. tried and failedI tried hard to like it and I failed First off, I know that this is fiction and reality gets exaggerated in fiction. I guess I'm just hoping that young adults who're in love don't move too fast just like the characters in this book.Tea is a foul mouthed girl who's a love child of a man who had a very big family. She gets accepted into the fold when her mother dies and eventually earns everyone's love. She's an insensitive character as evidenced by her not knowing that everyone in [...]

    21. This Beautiful Thing was a very good book, that had a lot of attention getting sentences. Teagan, a girl, drunkenly fell for a boy at a party without catching his name. After searching and searching for this mysterious boy, she finds out he is one of her twin brother’s best friends. They hide their relationship from Jaden because he is very protective of her. This was easy for them because Caden was caught up in her roommate Grace. She happened to fall for Jaden, Caden’s twin the night of th [...]

    22. Items ticked off: 21This Beautiful Thing or College-kids-as-mature-as-thirteen-year-olds-and-what-they-think-love-is.I'm not sure I've ever read a story with such insta-love. Or immature characters. How about this:“I’m not in love, Marcus, but if I ever find her and get to know her I don’t think it would take much for me to fall.”This is their relation prior to this statement: Her shirt got wet at a party in his house. He offered a dry one. Random flirting. They made out. She passed out [...]

    23. Alright book. I kept thinking I was reading a story off of Quotev, a site for teen writers who just like to write, due to the terrible grammar and misspelling. I found This Beautiful Thing lacking in a good plot. Calling this book an adult book is a mistake. Though in my opinion This Beautiful Thing belong only online, if anything, it is a YA book. Sure there was a few sex scenes (like two or three to be exact) but it didn't go deep into detail and most of the time it was just an immature book. [...]

    24. I liked this book and all, but I can't help saying that it could have been written better. I mean, aside from occasional bad grammar in the kindle version, there were some pretty ridiculous phrases and remarks from characters. Like this,"What makes him so special?""He calls me baby and he has told me I'm beautiful, like, a hundred times."Personally, I think any guy who called me baby within minutes of meeting me would creep me out. That isn't even the worst part. The phrases " my honey pot clench [...]

    25. OK concept. I enjoy some "sweet", but BAD follow-thru. The writing was juvenile, at best. The main characters had problems, but I honestly couldn't care less because I didn't care about the characters in the slightest. The point of a book is to care about the people in the story, or be in their heads, but these characters have no depth what-so-ever. I am sure it could be better if the author just started over and fleshed the story more. Keep the idea, but make people feel that the characters are [...]

    26. Genre: the lowest level of NA crapUtter dreck. I would say that even 80% of the free fanfic I have ever read is better than this. It's been a while since I have come across writng THIS amateurish and dire. This ebook has been "edited" since first publication, but it still needs about 20,000 more commas in place. The author obviously doesn't not know how to use them.I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I am going to need some eye plus brain breach to recover from having attempted to read this.
