    1. Didn't absolutely hate it, but I did have to force myself to finish it because I don't like not finishing a book. The writing was just terrible (and in some cases, didn't even make sense,) the characters were not well developed and I couldn't really follow the love story. It jumped from meeting someone to suddenly being in love with them. The author was trying to deal with a sensitive subject, but it just felt like a tool for a story. I would not recommend it.

    2. Novellas are never quite long enough for resolutions that don't feel rushed. I got this as a freebie, and failed to notice the length before I began. Simple grammatical errors were also annoying (PROspective, not PERspective and worst fears, not worse) etc.

    3. "Winter Chill" is my first exposure to talented Author Susette Williams and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. In this romantic, Christian-based novella, the main characters Sasha Steinfeld and Forrest Tucker, are well developed and likeable. The intriguing circumstances of their first encounter is sure to grab the attention of any romantic reader, especially the young adult or the young at heart. It is extremely refreshing to read such a clean sex, no swearingnd of book. I didn't realize that " [...]

    4. This was a very enjoyable read. The underlying topic that the female has went through is very intense and serious and I liked how Forrest helped Sasha get through this. So much was said and done in a short length story and that's exactly what I'm looking for at the moment. I liked how Forrest was easy going and at times a little too much but the way the story is written and the personalities of the characteristics allowed me not to get too annoyed. I would recommend this to others!

    5. Just like the first novella in this series, this is also a wholesome romantic story that highlights the matters of the heart rather than the physical expression. It is proof that a romantic novel can be short, and still deliver a worthwhile message. One thing I've noted is the somewhat unrealistic plot about the pretend engagement. I just think it's far from reality.Still a good, quick read.

    6. Great Christian romanceQuick read, a young woman learns to forgive, trust, and love after a horrifying ordeal. Great story, perfect for a quiet evening at home.

    7. I couldn't wait to start Winter Chill. I fell in love with Katie and Wade in book 1 and laughed at Wade's version of his blind date with Sasha. I thought now this is a girl I want to know more about. Sasha's story, however, is one that happens more often in our culture than one wants to think about. The good news is is that she was sent Forrest Tucker. He was protective of her from the start, sensing that she needed his help. They both learned how to listen and trust one another and that is what [...]

    8. Another wonderful listen by Susette Williams, this novella brings Sasha and Forest together. I love this short, feel good, wholesome romances. They are just long enough that I can listen while doing other things but Williams has a great way of developing the characters in that short period. There is nothing worse than listening to a book and not really getting a feel for who the people are. Sasha is a college student who has been a victim of date rape. Forest is an older student that also works [...]

    9. Contemporary university student romance with no sexy scenes but allusion to date-rape and kidnapping.Miss Sasha Steinfeld wants to be in a couple with a nice guy, but she is horribly traumatized from her last experience where she was date-raped by a rich guy at her college and no one believes her, including the dean who she asked for help. This is crazy and made me super mad, but it is believably written and I could see this happening in real life. Sasha's best friend, Katie Morgan is now engage [...]

    10. A continuation of the "Seasons of Heart" series, where Sasha, one of Katie's failed set-up dates for Wade in the first book, "Falling in Love" becomes the leading lady.Sasha is a college sophomore/junior with a secret. She's fearful of men. After an outing gone awry, Sasha seeks shelter by breaking and entering. Forrest just happens to be the victim of her crime. He senses something out of place with Sasha, but doesn't put the pieces together immediately. Once he does, he's her fierce and loyal [...]

    11. This novella is written with an obvious christian influence. Prepare yourself for praying and bible verses. Its a cutesy little story of a woman who has been assaulted and meets a man who helps her overcome her fears. One thing I really really did not like about 'Forrest' (the new man), is that he was super quick to anger and controlling. He even bunched up his fists while meeting the protagonists brother. I understand the author was attempting to make him seem protective but it was really over [...]

    12. I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest review. This is the story of Sasha and Forrest. Sasha had an encounter with an overly aggressive college classmate and has developed some pretty substantial issues with the opposite sex because of it. Forrest is the good guy who ends up doing whatever he can to protect her and make her more comfortable, even going so far as setting up a fake engagement to make the other guy back off. Is there anyway they can work toward making the engagement [...]

    13. "This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."It is great getting to hear Sasha's story. Learning to forgive past transgressions against her and being able to move foreward in her life, is a major step.I want more in this series!!!!!!!! The narration was well done, The emotions come through wonderfully .

    14. This book was ok. I think if the book were made longer and the characters more developed it would have been a great book. The subject matter was a sensitive topic and I feel Forrest's character was really pushy. Not a great way to handle someone who has just been through a traumatic experience. I will give the author credit though. The last few pages of the book were the best part. So now I'm off to find the Kurds mystery novels she wrote.

    15. I really liked this story. Sasha had suffered a trauma and had a hard time trusting men. Forrest wanted to help her over that. With Forrest’s concern and Sasha’s learning to rely on God’s help, she was able to start mending. I liked the way the author treated a delicate subject. I would recommend this book.

    16. I had the honor to review this wonderful book for the author. Sasha is struggling to trust any man after what Doug did to her. The way she meets Forrest will have you smiling. You can feel God working on these two. You won't be able to stop reading this book once you start reading it.

    17. I enjoyed reading this book. I defiantly had to laugh out loud a few times though I think some scenes need to be rewritten. Still this was a good read, entertaining and enjoyable, and I am glad I purchased it. I must say though that I liked the first to in this series better.

    18. Another short story by this author. This one deals with Sasha learning how to deal with life after date rape. She's very skittish around men and it took a while for Forrest to figure out why, but once he did, he was always by her side to help her through.

    19. Way too short & not believable. If a woman has been raped there is no way she would trust a guy she didn't know that easily.

    20. This is a well written story of overcoming and moving on from a harrowing incident. I really liked how the relationship between Sasha and Forrest. Nicely done.

    21. Great readAnother fantastic book, I loved this one. Had me hooked I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for book three

    22. I enjoyed this story about Sasha and Forest. It was better than book 1 about Katie and Wade. Book 1 was a good prequel to book 2.
