Although I don’t have any problem reading a book written by a physician about Sharia and its totalitarian propensities, I have serious issues with pseudo-intellectualism, blanket statements and copy-pasting a zillion obscure scholars. Andrew Bostom, like many people after 9/11, was deeply offended by Islamic doctrine of global dominance through Jihad. This book, as I he contends, is a case against Sharia.     2. This is a hard review. Is the topic interesting? Yes. Is there interesting information in this book? You bet. Is the book physically appealing? Certainly. You'll notice that I've answered all these questions in the affirmative. Now let's talk about why I awarded "Sharia Versus Freedom" only three stars.     3. A four out of five star rating because, although this book is very informative, it reads like an encyclopedia. The author of this tome is extremely knowledgeable and successfully demonstrates how Sharia is the enemy of freedom. An education about the thinking of a completely different culture than mine provokes some serious doubts about America's place in the world.
