    1. I enjoyed reading about saints/angels - although some did suffer horrendous martyr deaths. The stories are uplifting and set an example of determination at a time when Christianity was forbidden. The book covers the Holy Family, the Followers of Christ, the Gospel Writers, Martyrs, Great Thinkers and Evangelists, saints associated with Peace and Healing, and angels and archangels. The illustrations consist of reproductions of wonderful paintings and icons. I'd recommend this to anyone interested [...]

    2. A great introduction on who some of the angels and saints are, unfortunately doesn't cover all of the angels nor all of the saints. I wanted to read more about Raphael but only read about Tobit in his part and that's all.

    3. Some of the more well-known Saints are in this book, but it's interesting reading about their lives. The book also had more Saints than it did angels, but it was a nice read nonetheless.
