    3. We're starting to study U.S. History at home and I was looking for something about the Constitution that would be approachable. This does a great job of breaking the constitution down article by article and including some additional snippets of historical context, how various clauses have been applied and historical anecdotes. It's still probably not the most enthralling read for kids in elementary school, but it's a start.

I love that is breaks down each article within the Constitution and each clause with in the article and tells you what it means. Many great facts about how the Constitution came to be written. And amazing this book was the idea of a 14 year old! I bought a this book for my child's 5th grade teacher to be used in the classroom.
