    1. Virtue's Reward is decently written, but the relationship didn't hold my interest and neither did the plot. The narrative insists that Richard is the perfect gentleman. At times, I found him too perfect, but he dismisses Helena so often that I couldn't appreciate his sense of honour or polished manners.
