    2. This book is a worthwhile read but heavy going in places, even if you have ready plenty of political economy before. It analyses quite carefully the situation of the periphery in the eurozone pointing out that they went in at a high exchange rate, and were uncompetitive compared with Germany. The euro has simply resulted in Germany benefiting from the deficits of the periphery, financed in large part by "core" banks. So as the authors point out given this structure and the difficulties of making [...]

    3. Umm this book wasn't my kind of read it was all to do with the euro zone but it was quite a fast read though but I did kind of skip pass a couple of pages that didn't interest me and the book is also about the credit crunch and banks.

    4. Es muy interesante, pero es muy técnico sobre macroeconomía y la actual crisis de la Unión Europea. Es un buen libro para leer antes de las europeas, aunque no compartas las opiniones de Lapavitsas. Es una visión distinta de toda la situación actual.

    5. One of the most comprehensive, insightful and yet lucid books that touches on virtually every aspect of the subject matter. An underrated piece. Highly recomended.
