    1. I used this when walking the SWCP from Padstow to Falmouth. This guide gives helpful advice on tracking the path in and out of the various towns and villages along the way. This is necessary as the coast path signs seem to disappear at these points, which is often when they would be most useful. The information on the facilities (pub, shops and most importantly public toilets) in each place is very handy too. This book has a challenge compared to other walking guidebooks in that the South West Coast Path is so easy to follow for 90% of its length (stick with the sea on your right if walking in the conventional direction) that no directions are necessary. It therefore restricts directions to the short bits that are needed, coupled with a lot of commentary on the places passed through.
