    1. **1.5 schizophrenic stars***Where do these blinking books come from?! I keep finding stuff on my ipad I do not even remember downloadingThe Spaniard's Wife is so blah I wouldn't even bother to review, too much effort. Unfortunately there is a minute detail to mention and that is Davidson seems to be suffering from a mental episode when she wrote thisThe book opens with Gabriel Ortega (Dickwad) telling Rhianna St James(Spineless Sap) that he is getting married but that nothing will change between [...]

    2. Am I hallucinating? The beginning of the book reads very much like the beginning of Lynne Graham's The Secret His Mistress Carried. Basically: H: I'm getting married to some suitable heiress, but nothing will change between us, you'll still be my mistress blah blah (arrogant Tycoon speak).h: But I thought you loved me!! I'm your mistress?! You're marrying someone else?! Argh!!! I'm leaving! H: Just chill out. I'll see you tomorrow when you've calmed down and realized you can't live without my awe [...]

    3. Rhianna spent three years trying to forget Gabriel Ortega, the man she once adored. Gabriel had always considered her his mistress, nothing more and when he decided to marry, she knew she had to leave him - she could never share him with another woman. But Gabriel has never forgotten the woman who once set his nights on fire When he rediscovers Rhianna again, he is determined to have her in his bed and in his life. But he soon discovers she left Spain with more than just his pride. She also took [...]

    4. You know, I pick up these type of books when I'm in between reads as kind of a refresher. Something that gives me a little angst, alpha maleness, and has a guaranteed happily ever after. Just something to gnaw on I guess. This one was just okay. The hero was a little too much of a jerk and definitely did not grovel well at all.The heroine was too much of a sap and gave in just to get in, ya know? So, this was just kind of blah and borderline annoying. The hero is alpha, but the heroine isn't strong [...]

    5. More like 3.5 stars. I really wanted to give it more because it wasn't that the story was bad . . . far from it actually. It was good but it just felt like something I'd read before from one or more of my many harlequin romance reads. The plot wasn't very original still i enjoyed the story. I found Gabriel maybe too possessive. I mean he basically treated the heroine like she couldn't think for herself . . .I think he actually told her that exact thing somewhere in the story if I'm not mistaken. [...]

    6. For some reason I feel I have read this book before. Perhaps I have, then again perhaps it's similar to another book I've read about a Spanish overlord's mistress being abandoned while pregnant. The book gets right into it instantly, we go from past to present and the hero popping right back into the heroines life, finding out he has a son, then demanding the heroine come with him immediately or else she will lose her child. Overall a decent read, I adore books with passion and this one had a bi [...]

    7. I enjoyed reading this book, however they only thing I didn't like was the man leaving his mistress, to marry someone else, then the wife dies and he goes back to mistress. But it was all in all pretty good.

    8. Just a great storyfunny cute kid.wonderful mother trying to get on with her lifea man that made a mistake & is trying to find what made him happy & whya controling prideful mother who did something to hurt them all.

    9. Oh dear, what a truly awful book. He was just a bully for most of the story and she really needed to grow a backbone. Utter drivel.

    10. Dont read the prologue, it contradicts the main part of the book. It implies he was going to marry and keep her as his mistress. But then later on in the book it says he ended things with her.

    11. Did not like how Grady was treated in the story. Didnt like the hero or his ideas. I dont think he will change and the heroine is a doormat, cant respect her.
