    1. I really liked the story line I thought it was great! And the characters were well developed However there are a couple of things that rubbed me the wrong way First of all, half way through the book the author starts referring to holly as Jenna. Ok I get it. Her name started as Jenna but was switched to holly. Fine. Good. Great. Except when you change a character name change ALL of them. Please!! At one point I was so confused I had no idea who the heck Jenna was! Grrr then after she was called [...]

    2. This book is free on amazon so since I was looking for a book, I gave it a shot. I liked this book. Not incredibly well written and the story line is basic:1) girl gets treated horribly by husband who leaves her2) girl gets pulled over by officer who then becomes a fixture in her life3) ex husband continues to menace her and her kids4) officer is knight who is everything she wants but denies herselfVery fast read, entertaining. I'm a sucker for a love story- velveeta style.

    3. I love this book. It had me interested the whole time and I didn't want to put it down. It by far one of the sweetest and best romances I've read. I loved how through all the trials of a divorce from a horrible relationship Holly (the main character) finally found a person she could lean on and she allowed herself to trust someone again after her bad marriage.

    4. Predictable but goodNone of the disasters was too scary, the couples meeting and falling in love was very predictable from the start but that didn't make the story any less enjoyable. Light read, upbeat.

    5. I thought this was a cute story, super clean with only a few times where they take the Lord's name. It was a nice break after all the dystopian and vampire books I've been reading lately. There's not a lot of substance to it, just a nice little love story.

    6. So so. I thought the writing style was amerturish. In fact the editing was poor too because Holly's name was originally Jenna and when the author changed to Holly she didn't get all of the changes made. I just thought the style was distracting.

    7. finished this book in one day. not bad but definitely not amazing writing. I think most highschoolers could've written it and there were a lot of grammatical errors and at one point they put in the wrong name for the main character and that was annoying.

    8. 191pgs, contemporary divorce, she is divorced and her FIL is her best support. she meets the sheriff, during a traffic ticket. he becomes a fixture in the family, and he is ready to commit, but can she trust him.

    9. Two and a half to three stars.I liked the story and the journey of the characters getting to know one another but I do like more romance - a little kiss at the end isn't enough for me - just personal preference.

    10. I liked the story, but it was very predictable. I found myself getting annoyed with Holly. She was very whiny. I wish there were a lot of men in the world that were as good and caring as Matt.

    11. I love the subtle humor is this book. The daughter Brianna was my favorite, love her snark on cops and donuts. Overall a very good book to just kick back and read on a nice hot saturday afternoon.

    12. Sn excellent book. My favorite character was the daughter Brianne. she cracked me up.It was a sweet love connection with out any graphic love making.

    13. This is a sweet, easy, read of a love story. Nothing unbelievable or overly dramatic, clean, nice feel-good ending. Not something that's going to blow your mind, but a nice no-brainer.

    14. Really cute story about a women rebuilding her life after a divorce. Good character development, and it was free, so you really can't beat it!
