    3. Sweet, Decadent Fire by Candice StaufferIt all came down to this….Jake Mann was going to tell her good-bye tonight. Take her dinner and be done. Of course he would continue to watch over her but she would never know it. She wasn't his to have. Never was…ver will be. So what does he do? Kisses her. What a fool. How will he let her go now that he has the memory of her lips on his? And being a vampire…. he will live with those memories a long long time.Lee Anne Parker has really fallen for th [...]

    4. This is the first that I have read from Candice Stauffer, but it won't be the last! I truly enjoyed this book. Yes, it is short, but it makes me want to read more! I think this is a great introduction to the author for me. The writing was fluid and smooth. It was a sandstorm of a romance that left me wanting to read what may be in store for them in later books. Let me tell you, Jake, one smooth hottie! I just wished he had realized more about Lee Anne. They are truly meant for eachother. Theirs [...]

    5. My thoughts:This was the first book I've read by Candice Stauffer and I have to say, Yay to the find. :) Her writing style is fun to read it's light and I like it if you can tell. :)The Review:This story was cute and different. I've read lot's of Paranormal Romance and always enjoy a break from repeated series. Jake Mann and Lee Ann Parker were fun getting to know and easy to like. Normally in romances I like one character more than the other because they're completely different. If you want to [...]

    6. Parts of it caught my attention and for being a short story it was pretty decent. I did discover grammatical/spelling errors. I know my english skills aren't the greatest but if you're going to write a story make sure you have it written correctly :/

    7. Confusing at first, this tale will take you through some quick changes. It seemed as if the story started before the book began and you just have to keep reading ro catch up with the plot or get left behind. On the plus side the story is awesime, once you do catch up. I loved the fearlessness of the heroine, and the brutal way she acted. I am tired of those books that show the heroine as some weak limp thing that needs to be taken care of, and rescued, constantly. Or always at the mercy of the h [...]

    8. Number two in this series. The focus is on our demon friends vampire friends and how they live, love and find their mates. Jake the vampire has found his true mate in Lee Ann. She gives him trouble and he loves it. Another great read! We meet more characters and begin to watch their stories unfold. Love!

    9. My only gripe is that all of the male character's names started with a J. Jake, Jeremy, Joshua It made it confusing and took a heck of a lot more effort than should be required to keep track of who's talking or being talked about.

    10. This was a DNF for me at about 25%. I liked the idea of the forbidden romance mixed with the paranormal and I liked what I saw of the hero, butFirst the story felt like it jumped right into the middle of something so I felt off kilter from that and then right away before I got to know her, the heroine got drunk and got mean. She blew stuff out of proportion. Calming, reasonable words made her angry; silence made her angry. Everything made her angry. Then she dumped her wine and a water pitcher o [...]

    11. Was this really the 2nd book or was it just a novella? I'm confused 'cause this novel has less than 90 pages and all the other novels of this series are well over 250I mean, it wasn't less enjoyable for me in any way 'cause I haven't read any of the others so I can't really say I missed something or I actually feel the difference between them but it's definitely weird. Is there going to be a full length novel later then? But that doesn't sound right either. I don't know. I did find it short of c [...]

    12. Its awesome to know that not all vampires in this series our evil. And certainly Jake is not evil at all but he is hot as hell as only a vampire can be. He given the task to watch out and protect Leigh Ann Parker for another vampire only to find out in the end that she is his mate. I love the whole scene where she tries to get another woman to seduce him while she makes a run for it. My only regret was that it was too short of a story but diffinitly a hot read. Two thumbs up. Highly reccomend th [...]

    13. After reading the first book in this series I expected this book to pick up where it left off. However, it starts off by introducing new characters and left me feeling like I had missed a book. This novella is more like book 1.5 in the series rather than a book 2. I still enjoyed the story, but it felt like something was missing. At least it was a freebie.

    14. Couldn't put it down! This is one steamy, dreamy book. Have to see what happens next! I just love the whole vampire werewolf dragon thing. The men are Hot, Hot, Hot! A great read for adults who enjoys Paranormal romance with a twist!!!!

    15. Short, sweet, to the pointDefinitely helps to have read the first in the series. This book doesn't leave you hanging. There is a good lead into another book or two, so if you like Ms. Staffers writing go ahead and get her other books, I will.

    16. To shortreally Its a boring read real action,no hot erotic scenes!! :( disappointed!! would not recommend. wish it had more story line.

    17. GREAT!!!!! Candice is a great author and knows how to tell a hot, sexy and riveting story. It makes you wish that these were real beings!

    18. What a fun quick read, introducing new characters Jake and Lee Ann and giving us more of a glimpse of Joseph and Mia. Enjoying this series!
