    1. I loved this book, even more than the author's last (which was very different). The story starts with a pretty violent murder unfolding in the main character's life. Making it all the worse, he's a celebrity and the world is watching his own personal tragedy unfolds. He's left with a broken career, and a little brother whose now his sole responsibility. We see a lot of what happened in flashbacks, mostly. The story pieces together like a puzzle as bits and pieces come back to the main character, J [...]

    2. I won this book on . It started off as a non-stop action thriller and then devolved into a whodunit. I liked the plot and the mystery about who was at fault for trying to destroy Jack's life was definitely not obvious. My only complaints were that the dialogue was a little corny, and I still couldn't figure out why the killer (sorry no spoilers there) wanted Jack to suffer and not his dad when he was the one involved in the original accident.

I could not put it down because I wanted to find out who did it. I was even tempted to flip to the last chapter just to see the end results, but I'm glad I didn't. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and crime novels, and even those who are looking for something different than their usual type o [...]
