    1. Originally posted at: longandshortreviews.cIf Jonathan’s only hope is a woman who hates him, he might be better off taking his chances with the FBI.I could feel the walls closing in on Jonathan from page one. He absolutely believes he’ll be in “jail or dead by Monday.” His anxiety and desperation are palpable and I couldn’t help but wonder what he’d done, or rather not done, to be in such a precarious situation. Jonathan knows Grace is his only hope. However, they were high school sw [...]

    2. If you thought you were being set up for embezzlement and diamond smuggling, and you didn't trust anyone in your circle, who would you turn to for help in proving your innocence? Would you be willing to trust the one person who you hurt years ago, knowing that they might refuse? What if all these years you never were able to forget that person, and the passion still burns bright can there still be a glimmer of hope left? These are the questions that Jonathan Alexander faced when being accused o [...]

    3. Well I did like this book, although it had a few points that irritated me. The hero, Jon, and heroine, Grace got pretty repetitive. I felt like they kept having the same conversation over and over again. And the plot was either almost too complicated or didn't quite have enough re-cap at the end to help the reader understand the loose ends. But all in all I liked it - I always prefer a book where the characters are likable and Jon and Grace were great, not to mention secondary characers like Pet [...]

    4. Wow! This book really sent me on a wild ride. Loved every second of it. The characters pulled at my heart strings with their chemistry and their dilemma. The plot was one of the most interesting I've read in a long time--kept me guessing all the way through while rooting for the characters to get their happy ending (I wondered if that would even be possible at times!) If you love adventure--read this book. If you love sexy and believable characters--read this book. If you love a heart-pulling ro [...]

    5. I really loved this book! It kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. Loved the story--it's very smart and unique. The romance is hot, no question about it. A solid level Red for heat, I'd say. I fell in love with the characters--Lazy Jon and Crazy Gracie are the best. I rooted for them all the way through the book and am hoping there's a sequel! I highly recommend this book--it's worth your time and money, no doubt. Very smart story with equally smart characters. I'll be looking for [...]

    6. Love, love, love! I really enjoyed this book, in fact, it's one of the best I've read in a long time. The characters were wonderful--I found myself truly caring for them. I liked that they weren't perfect, their flaws made them believable. I honestly couldn't stop reading. The story was very unique, I guess I'd say clever. It had a "Burn Notice" vibe to it, which I really loved. (I'm a fan of that show, too!) Kiss Me Slowly is edgy, sexy, exciting and fun. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a [...]

    7. For a light romance novel this was right up there because for me it had a story! Lots of action, a gutsy heroine and a troubled hero. The heroine is the one with the brains which is nice, there's lots of nice scenes sailing around the Keyes and its never broing. The other characters are a little less believable but really it's only Grace and Jonathan were all I was interested in!

    8. You know, I wasn't sure what to expect from this when I started reading. It's obvious trouble is brewing from the first paragraph, but I had no idea where it would lead. I ended up not being able to put it down! I love being surprised by a book. Ha! The characters were really well written and I didn't want to leave them when the book was over. When I read the last line of the book, I wanted MORE. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars when I'm normally a 4 star kinda girl. The plot kept me on my toes, [...]

    9. I had high expectations for this book based on the reviews - sizzling chemistry, a painful history for our lovers to overcome, a riveting mystery to solve. At the end of the day I just didn't care. Grace and Jon were high school sweethearts who planned to run away together to sail the world when they turned 18. Jon dumps Grace - literally at the pier - with a truly heartbreaking speech. Pretty much he dumped her to keep a lifestyle he never wanted to begin with - except for the whole having a ya [...]

    10. "Kiss Me Slowly" by Amber Lea Easton is a great romantic thriller. Forensic accountant Grace decides to help out her former boyfriend Jon, even though he broke her heart 13 years ago. The unfinished business between them is a great basis for the on and off chemistry throughout the story.Jon is in business with some dodgy people who seem to have set him up to take the fall for diamond smuggling and tax evasion. He deals with some very dangerous people while trying to prove his innocence. The book [...]

    11. Fast paced suspense, action adventure, rollicking romance, humor, twists and turns--this book is a combo of all of them. I really enjoyed this read. If you like romantic suspense with a unique plot that will keep you guessing until the final pages, then this book will deliver all of that. I'm hoping there's a sequel, actually, because I really didn't want to part with these charactersd it seemed like they were capable of getting into more trouble. (Or is this just wishful thinking on my part?)

    12. An enjoyable read by Amber Lea Easton. A second chance at love amidst a diamond smuggling/murder plot kept me turning the pages, trying to add up the clues and figure out who was actually the bad guy. A lot of action and a great secondary cast of characters. For the most part, the chemistry between the hero and heroine was good. My only complaint that I thought should have been explained (and I don't want to give away anything here) was why the hero didn't personally know the culprit.
