    1. Sweet Macarons was kindly provided to me by Netgalley for The Taunton PressExpected Publication Date: April 17, 2012Interested in more of my reviews? Visit my blog!So when I saw this cookbook being offered on Netgalley I was super excited and began having daydreams about all the beautiful macaron’s I could make since it was being displayed as being ‘gluten-free’ goodies. (The only goodies I can have so I was all over that). Unfortunately, my diet also consists of egg-free goodies. Yes, I a [...]

    4. The instructions seem adequate. There are some new tricks that I hadn't heard of before - I will try to see if my macarons turn out differently. The recipe combinations are interesting - some look good (chocolate, mint chocolate), and some aren't to my taste (ones with rose, violet or curry? flavouring).

    6. A patisserie resource intended for at home bakers, Sweet Macarons,is sure to inspire a love of creativity in baking this confection! The photos alone are works of art.The flavour combinations unique. The book is unconventional in layout of recipes, with ingredientsappearing as paragraph listings. Modifying suggestions are includedas is a level of difficulty marker for each recipe and a conversion chart at book's end.Thorough in presentation, Mercotte details step by step methodsin preparation and [...]

    7. Originally published at BethsBookReviews.I love all cookbooks about baking and I simply could not pass this one up, however, I was sorely disappointed. Despite the lovely photographs by Sigrid Verbert, the recipes themselves are incredibly complicated and simply not for the average, or even advanced, baker. Seriously, you actually need to be Martha Stewart to get these right. The "level of difficulty" on each recipe is just a joke. It refers to the difficulty of making the fillings not the night [...]

    8. A very good book to learn the basis of the macarons and become a "pro" with a little practice. The original edition called "Solution macarons" has been published by ALTAL Editions (the publishing house, located in the South East of France, I am currently working for).you will find many advices in this book to succeed any variety of macarons. Amazing !Plus, all the recipes have been tested by apprentice cooks in cooking workshops and done successfully. Now it is your turn to try!

    9. The macarons were too complexed for me to prepare,so I suggested to my mother to make some. We apsolutely loved them. Our favourite were the Vanilla Cardamom macarons. Also we liked the delicious Apricot macarons. This book is a guide of how to make macarons like a pro.

    10. Book provided by the publisher.I loved this book, its full of some really imaginative recipes and a lot of yummy ones. It was very easy to follow and the conversion chart at the back was very useful
