    1. Posted on Under the CoversOut of all the Warriors in this series (and the Dark Swords), I have to say that I love Ian Kerr the best. There was just something so compelling about her character from the get-go and I found myself sympathizing with him as the book progressed.Ian has been isolated for centuries because he doesn’t have control over his god, Farmire. As the god of battle, Farmire is always trying to get Ian to engage in battle or at least start a battle so Ian is in a constant state [...]

    2. An adventure-packed bewitching tale! Taken from my review at RomanceJunkies:At the age of twelve, Danielle ‘Dani’ Buchanan lost her parents. Watching their coffins sitting side by side, her heart hardened. Temporarily, she stayed with her best friend, but since she could not understand what Dani was going through, their friendship suffered. Then her Aunt Josie, who was her new guardian, came and took her to Scotland to live. Her aunt told her that she had magic within her like she did and th [...]

    3. Ian Kerr, thrust into future when the evil drough, Dierdre gets taken into the 21st Century, has been hiding in a cave in the highlands of Scotland for some time. Struggling with his god, Farmire, the god of battle, no less, after his twin, Duncan was murdered by Malcolm at Dierdre's behest. Ian feels he is no company for anyone. He begins to "talk" to Duncan and can't decide whether it actually is Duncan speaking to him or if he is going mad. Modern day Druid, Danielle Buchanan hasn't had an ea [...]

    5. Ian has such a heartbreaking beginning in this new time. Ian did not even have the time to mourn the loss of his brother before he was jerked from the life he knew and thrown four hundred years into the future, into a time he does not understand, into a place where he is all alone. Now he has to not only deal with the loss of his twin Duncan, but he must learn how to control the god within him at his full force all alone. Duncan and Ian had always shared their god. Oh, Ian just makes you want to [...]

    6. Full review found on: Book-BoyfriendsLuckily, I got book two right away and could dive into Midnight's Lover without a break. I was super excited to actually get to Ian because I was worried. He's a warrior fighting his God for control - A task that he thinks is impossible Man, I love Ian. Ian makes me weak.Bring on Dani and the cutest first night scene ever. I mean, holy cow, when Ian rescues her and gets naked with her just so he can keep her warm I mean WOW, that scene was hot while being inc [...]

    7. Donna Grant- "Midnight's Lover"Ian Kerr is a fierce warrior, and he is trying to control the god within himself from taking over. Ian lost his twin brother to another warrior who was allied with his enemy Deidre. Ian has lost everything that is important to him, including the MacLeod's who are like family to him. Ian knows if he can not control the god within himself, that he will never have a family or someone to love. While out hunting for dinner, Ian hears the shrieks of Deidre's Wyrran and k [...]

    8. Donna Grant makes even a fierce, battle loving, blue god look sexy! What I loved about this book I hope you're sitting down this may take a while. This was my first book by Donna Grant. Why didn't anyone tell me what I was missing? As the hero in the second book in the Dark Warriors Series, Ian could not have been a better fit. He's big, he's hot and he's battling an internal demon that won't quit. Who doesn't love a slightly imperfect hero? Ian needs the strength and courage to beat his god and [...]

    9. Actually I give this one 3 and a half stars. I loved Ian & Dani. Ian was such a tormented soul after losing his brother Duncan and then having to battle their god all on his own. But Dani helped him keep in control over him. Like I said, I loved this story about Ian & Dani but it drove me nuts how Ian was in denial (the others too) about the fact that it was with Dani's help that he could keep his god in check and it went on for several pages!! And several more & so on. I wanted to s [...]

    10. 4 starsI loved it, everything about it!I loved the all the characters, so endearing, strong, loyal and compassionate. The plot was fast-paced, soooo very romantic and so hot. Ian and Dani were so perfect for each other. Ian fought to keep his god away and avoid his painful past while Dani embraced her loss and cherished each of those moment. They learned and taught each other to move forwardke I said, romantic to a fault.

    11. It was nice to finally learn more about Ian in this book! Not to mention that the heroine, Dani, is full of life and tenacious! Reading about Ian's struggle with his god and his grief over losing his brother really brought home to me that Duncan is really dead! Sad day! I really loved this book and think that it is a nice addition to the series. Can't wait for the next one!

    12. After being pulled forward in time by the evil drough Deirdre, Ian is struggling to deal with the loss of his twin and the controlling God that consumes him. While hiding away from the world he unexpected comes upon Danielle and is drawn to her. Their connection and attraction are instant, but Ian fears that without control of his God, he will never be good enough for Danielle.

    13. This book was so intense and full of suspense. I could almost feel Ian's pain as he struggled to control his God while managing to overcome Duncan's loss. He was slowly losing himself in his inner god, but suddenly he had to rescue Danielle, a very special Druid who was meant to take something very important to the MacLeods. But taking her there means facing his demons, since they are his family but never went to look for him. It's amazing to see him struggling for control over his god and his g [...]

    14. Loved this story. Ian and Danielle are a beautiful couple. He is wonderful. Caring, sexy, loyal and the perfect partner for Danielle. She is strong, loyal and caring and exactly whom he needed to help him with his demon god that lives inside him and is trying to take over Ian's life. All the characters in this story are loyal, respect each other and are honest with each other, loved them all. Danielle brings light to Ian's darkness. He in turn gives her what has been missing from her life for ma [...]

    15. Midnights LoverDark Warrior's 2. WOW this book is so full of twists and turns it will pull you in and will not let you go even when the book ends you are so excited to see who will be next and what will happen to them.

    16. Donna Grant does such a wonderful job creating the Dark Warriors' world of magic and danger that it's easy to get sucked into the story. Watching each of the Warriors struggle with their Gods and finding their HEA is amazing. I love each of their stories and can't wait to continue the series.

    17. Really liking this series. I like that the author ties the characters in so well. Never feeling like I don't know how they are connected. Love the castles!!

    18. AwesomeAnother great book in the Dark Warriors series. I just love Donna's work, she is fast becoming a favorite of mi .

    19. Brought to you by OBS reviewer HeidiSpoilers Ahead!Ian is still reeling from his twin brother, Duncan’s, death and can no longer control the god inside him now that he no longer shares him with his twin. So he’s done the only thing he feels he can; he has taken himself far away from civilization so that if his god does take over, he won’t hurt anybody, or at least Ian hopes not. Then, Ian hears the unmistakable sound of wyrran shrieks and discovers a group of the yellow monsters chasing a D [...]

    22. Can you give a book 10 stars??? Because I want to!! OH MY GOD!! I hadn't been reading the Dark Warrior Series because other books came up in my review list and I got swamped but I took a break to read this one and AAAhhhhh I am so glad I took time out of my other reviews to read this in between when I had my times because I sooo loved reading Ian's battle Malcolm's seeming to not even.want. to come around which is sad but I have hope for him. Ian saving Dani was so sweet He was still fighting bu [...]

    23. I liked it. It was sad that both characters lost loved ones - Danielle: her parents were killed in a car crash at age 12; then, her father's sisters moved her from Florida to Scotland. There she was raised by her Aunt Josephine, who made her realize the fact that she was a Druid with powerful magic; then, her Aunt Josie died. Despite her job, her flatmates, she still felt alone; whereas, Ian, whose twin, Duncan, was murdered by Malcolm, one of Dierdre's henchman. Once Duncan was murdered, Ian ha [...]

    24. "Midnight's Lover" by Donna Grant. Book 2 in the Dark Warriors series.Really enjoyed Ian and Danielle's story. As always, Ms. Grant's writing is excellent. The descriptions of the scenes throughout the books are always so vivid and beautiful, you can picture the scene very easily. The relationship between Ian and Danielle is very well done, a very good match.Ian has just learned that his brother Duncan is dead and now he's been dragged into the future (400 years) against his will. He now holds D [...]
