    1. My first time reading Lisa Cooke. She is in the same vein as Julia Quinn. There were some good liners in the story. I liked Robert. I began liking the heroine but she was beginning to prove to be childish and annoying. I liked the premise. The issues? A bit wordy at times as I skimmed through parts of the book, unnecessary secondary characters love scenes (there weren't many but still?), I liked the heroine 'trying' to be unattractive but after getting married she was pushing it too far.The auth [...]
