    1. While not quite as good as previous Dr Xargle books, this is still lots of fun and has a few laugh-out-loud moments. My favourite bit by a mile is Dr Xargle's explanation of wellington boots. Other good explanations include sledging, snowmen and snowball fights. Fantastic for children - so long as they are not too literal! - and the humorous observations about Earth behaviour transcend well into adulthood.

    2. Maybe if I had read this book earlier in storytime when the kids had more energy, it would have gone better. Unfortunately they were just too antsy. It also lost a start because I found some of the syntax choices hard to work with in a read aloud.

    3. Not as entertaining as Earthlets, but very much in the same vein. Perfectly sufficient for fans of the series.
