    1. Cover weiterhin ein Graus, aber auch Teil 2 war toll. Hatte etwas von nach Hause kommen <3 ich habe zwar nicht so viel gelacht wie bei Teil 1, trotzdem war es toll!!!

    2. After having gotten the first book in a swap with someone from GR, I just had to find out what happened in the second book. Although they are separate plots, they should definitely be read in order as much reference is made from book two to one.In this installment, Willow Foster is working for the Maine Attorney General's office when her she is asked to look into a case of possible illegal waste dumping. The danger grows as she starts tracking down the culprits. All the while she is fending off [...]

    3. Done with her usual flair of dramatics and humor. I loved the character of Willow Foster And Duncan Ross being a Duke never even occurred to me. I do however remember the Lobster wars going on years back in actuality, and even some really bad things in the news. This story brought it all back to my mind and it made this book more believable. Though there was one thing that stood out to me, the changing of the name of the Oakes sloop. It is my understanding that you NEVER change the name of any s [...]

    4. The Dangerous Protector follows the story of Willow Foster and Duncan Ross, two characters who first met in The Seductive Impostor by Janet Chapman. As an assistant attorney general, Willow’s investigation into illegal chemical dump sites places her life and job in jeopardy. Full of danger and intrigue, The Dangerous Protector is a suspenseful story that was riveting and kept me impatiently waiting to find out how things would end up. Another great novel by Janet Chapman.

    5. Willow is Rachel's younger, much more stubborn sister, who is afraid of commitment. Which is why she's been avoiding Duncan for the past 18 months after waking up from a night of passion with him to find him planning their future together. Duncan, for his part, has been patient, waiting for Willow to realize how much she loves him. In the meantime, Willow has stumbled upon something dangerous in her office, which she decides to investigate with a little help from Duncan and his team. During the [...]

    6. The Dangerous Protector(Puffin Harbor Book #2) by Janet ChapmanGenre: Contemporary RomanceWillow Foster is committed to protecting Maine's precious coastline. She's equally committed to avoiding her one-time fling, Duncan Ross, the rugged Scotsman who's got her hometown believing she's the love of his life. But when Willow goes home to uncover the mystery behind a worrisome lobster catch, she learns that pub owner Duncan holds some mysteries of his ownd that taking a chance with her heart might [...]

    7. I hate to give this a one-star rating, but I've now picked it up three times and still can't get more than a few chapters into it. I feel like I have to rate it, as a warning to my future self! The trouble is I've read and enjoyed many of Chapman's other books. She's not great, but she does like to get her heroines pregnant, which I rather enjoy. So whenever I'm in a drought, I look through her catalog and think, "Oh yeah, I haven't read this book."Why can't I get into it? The setup utterly fails [...]

    8. A quick little adventurous romance concerning a workaholic state's assistant attorneys general who cannot seem to get her mind off of an extremely handsome Scottish bar owner in a small hometown seaport. Willow Foster will just not give into the feelings that she is having towards the attractive Duncan Ross.cially now that the whole town has bet whether or not she will marry the gorgeous charming hunk. In addition to dealing with Duncan, Willow is investigating the reason why so many lobsters ar [...]

    9. This was a fast read for me. it took less than a day. I did like the book, but Willow started to bug me after a while. She was way too fickle for me. Also the build up was long and it was wrapped up in a summary at the end. I wish it was more than 2 pages for dealing with the criminals instead of orders given and then they were out of the picture. Oh well. I also wish there was more character description. There was for kee, but not the rest of the men. I am rushing through different series becau [...]

    10. The battle of wills between Willow and Duncan is outrageous and at times, hysterical and totally romantic. Some parts of this were laugh out loud funny. He is the perfect man and right along with Willow, you couldn't help but fall in love with him. Willow was fiery, tender and easy to relate to. A truly romantic novel with danger, adventure, lobstermen, cops, lawyers. A real round robin of characters.Janet Chapman does it again. Not as good as the first few books in this series but well worth th [...]

    11. Second in the Puffin Harbor series and just as good as the first. Once again good love story, great story involving poisoned lobsters and criminals after the heroine with her protector watching our for her whether she likes it or not. Wish there were more to the series. After all - how many more men are aboard that boat?

    12. Book #2 in the Puffin Harbor Series and it should be read in order. Funny! Modern-day romance. Willow is an Assistant D.A. and gets caught up in a case of polluted water. This is a neat read. Both sisters have a little secret in their hometown that involvesilboxes. And that's all I'll say about that.

    13. I love this book-Janet did a great job keeping my attention. I could not put the book down. I am beginning to love all of Janet Chapman's Duncan's ( Duncan from this book and Duncan from Charmed by his love) Yum-I need to find a Duncan lol. It was a great story and the bond with all the characters-love love Love!!!!

    14. The Dangerous Protector by Janet Chapman Puffin Harbor #2.Willow Foster is an assistant attorney general in Maine, some of her friends have shown her a hugh Ecological problem Lobsters are dying around Thunder Island. Someone is dumping something toxic on the island.Ross Duncan is going to save her from herself and the bad guys.

    15. Another great installment of the Puffin harbor people and their adventures! It was great to see Willow and Duncan's relationship more. Janet did a great job with this book. :)I hope to see other installments of the other men from Kee's old salvage group and their love stories.

    16. This is the 2nd book in the Foster sisters. This was about Duncan and Willow. We found out that Duncan is a Duke and his mother is a Duchess. It was kind of funny in spots and had a lot of mystery in this one.

    17. This book was good. Not as good as the first book though. I found the mystery/crime they were trying to solve a bit long, as I wish there was a bit more time spent between Willow and Duncan or Jason and Jane for that matter (whom I got a kick out of) Still overall it was an enjoyable read.

    18. Oh Janet Chapman, I don't know if you read these reviews or not but I really enjoy your writingyour twists and turns, humor, your stubborn women and your decidedly alpha men always make me smileank you.

    19. This has my favorite kind of romance where the male steadfastly pursues the female. Maine's assistant attorney general Willow investigates lobster contamination with the help of Scottish bar owner Duncan.

    20. I absolutely adore Duncan Ross, so when he decides to marry Willow Foster, I was intrigued. The background story of the mystery of the deformed lobsters didn't really interest me; I more enjoy the people like Molly, Luke, Jason, and Jane.

    21. The return to Puffin Harbor to follow the Troglodite and the lawyer a wonderful read. Can you imagine looking at a vehicle registration and finding the owners name to be Luke Skywalker? Janet Chapman can!

    22. Loved the interaction between these two lovers, as well as the suspense. Kept me reading instead of sleeping.

    23. As always Janet Chapman's novels are a joy to read. I enjoy the relationships with the people. The funny, the serous and everything in between.

    24. This is the second of the Puffin Harbor stories that involve two sisters. Great characters and dialogue that is snappy and leaves you laughing many times. GREAT STORY!!!!
