  1. This was one of the only books I've spent so much time on, ever. I liked the premise of the story, but I didn't really like the writing. Sometimes she was too vivid when describing something, and would like to over-explain how something looks--something I like, but not when it's done often. And it would be a book you would have to concentrate reading, because of the way it was written. I would have to go back and re-read a passage if I wasn't 100% focused on it.
