    1. MAD SCIENCE OVERLOAD! Both a 7-year old advanced reader and a 4-year old reluctant reader LOVE LOVE this book set! One book is almost 10-minute easy read for the 7-year old although she read it over and over again to verify the science facts in the book. And she loves that Franny is a strong female character in which she can really relate to. The book is a read aloud to the 4-year old son. He also asks to read the books over and over which we happily oblige. Very engaging books indeed.

    2. I love Jim Benton's sense of humor in these books, evidently inspired by classic sci-fi films and presented through the eyes of a female, prepubescent evil-genius. My daughter can't get enough.

    3. These books are PERFECT! The story is cute, accessible, funny, and while it's definitely an early reader book it is great to use for older kids who have low reading skills.

    4. Great series! Funny and entertaining for all my boys. A little easy for Aidan (he can read one in a sitting), but he loves them anyway. We will add to this series!
