    1. Interesting to read only in the context of contrasting the 70's pop "philosophy of sex" with contemporary female French attitudes, such as that of Catherine Millet. The story rambles on and one loses interest quickly.

    2. So, it seems that this sequel was better than the first. There were parts I enjoyed reading, but many I also didn't.The Pros: I liked that the book was trying to normalize open relationship, public sex, toys, and nudity. Working in a sex store, it's still a difficulty to get people to be comfortable with their bodies.It was interesting reading Emmanuelle's conversations with Anne Maria where she's defending her lifestyle against Christianity.     3. Todo lo que me gustó del primer libro, ese choque contra los convencionalismos de la época, ese canto a la libertad, me aburrió en el segundo. Es una pena que no haya sido capaz de mantener el nivel.

    4. A very nicely-done sequel to the first "Emmanuelle" novel. Worth it just for the scene at the embassy party and for the final scene on the beach. Again, too talky, too much facile philosophising. Butose two scenes are just stunning. A very hot read.
