Would this book hold up today? Probably not. But my 11 year-old self adored, adored Max Headroom when this book was published and I read it over and over again. I even did a book report on it, probably much to the confusion of my grade 7 teacher. So for that childhood happiness and as a time capsule piece, it gets 5 stars from me. :)
Sometimes, long after the fact, pop-culture ephemera (I coined a term for stuff like this - ephemorabilia) can prove fascinating in its own right. Will this? Who knows? Maybe I'll glance at it if it sits on the shelf long enough.
only got A 3 BECAUSE I have wanted to read forever and finally did, lots of the "maxisms" were funny and so him glad i finally finished it and off my pile!
EeshI don't even think this would've been funny in the 80s
