    1. An incredibly in-depth look at a notorious film. LHotL isn't my favourite from this era of horror movies but there is still a great insight into the making of it and the impact it had. The author has done a great job of talking to just about everyone involved and the behind the scenes stuff is more detailed than in any other book I've read.Highly recommended to fans of horror or low budget movie making in general.

    2. I love the film techniques, characters, story, soundtrack, everything about this iconic 1970's hippie cult film, and this book couldn't have been any better than it was. It includes everything about the film, from full-color photographs to notes from the actors and director. It's definitely worth reading if you love horror or if you love filmmaking! :)

    3. This book is an excellent read. I've only seen the movie once, which was more than enough. I prefer monster movies and ghost stories over revenge flicks. But that doesn't take away from the enjoyment in reading about how Wes Craven started his career guerrilla style. If you're into filmmaking, this is a must read.
