    1. Interactions between Madison (soldier) and Isabella (social worker) are the basis for this twist and turn-filled romance with angst/drama. Ms. Prescott does an admirable job weaving a compelling tale and I read through the night not wanting to stop. Great book for anyone to read. Easily rates 4.5 stars

    2. Wow. This book truly took me on an emotional roller coaster. I felt like I was in the middle of the emotional dilemma, and then the bottoming out. Well written and the more I read the more I wanted to read. Really makes you feel the truth that when you find that one person it is forever. Thanks Bev!

    3. my soldier, too is an excellent lesbian romance. Capt. Madison Brown falls in love and faces the complications of being a soldier who loves a woman. Just when you think “don't ask, don't tell” has solved everything, through Madison's eyes we get a view of how much and how little has actually changed. Nicely written and a captivating story, I highly recommend this one!

    4. Needs a little polishing but not a bad read. There were the inevitable cliches, the 'are you sures' and the 'I don't want to hurt yous', but an ok story. It could have done with another chapter or two, I'll not say why so I don't spoil, but it seemed unfinished to me on several levels conflict wise. The ending just seemed rather hurried, like the author couldn't wait to get it over and done with.

    5. Loved this book. It is a great story and very realistic. So moving and emotional, it touched my heart deep inside because I have friends in the military and I know how they feel. Definitely it is a re-read book for me.

    6. A little too predictable, but a great first book by the author. Have read other books by this author and was not disappointed.
