    1. This is an excellent reference for someone newly diagnosed with GD to help them understand their options in treatment and how to deal with the symptoms.

    2. After getting diagnosis of Graves' disease, I needed to do some learning fast. My doctor was one of those doctors who wanted to give a quick recommendation and not address any of my questions. Luckily for me, she was going on vacation the week after the diagnosis, so I had some time to do some research on my own. Between this book and one other, I learned lots of information about the disease, the eye disease, the possible treatments, and changes in lifestyle. I highly recommend this as a starti [...]

    3. This is NOT light reading. This is the kind of book that you read if you want to have a better understanding of the mechanics of Graves' disease, which is exactly what I want. I read through my library copy and will now buy a copy for myself so that I can sit down and read it more thoroughly. I'm not the person with Graves' disease so I don't know how it feelsbut I want to understand as much about it as I can so that I can make the best decisions I can for my daughter. This book is one of the mo [...]

    4. There is nothing practical about this book; obviously meant for medical students and not the poor suffering Patients of Graves Disease. Nonetheless found a couple of chapters that one could easily grasp. If anyone out there knows of a simpler book

    5. Some good information in here, but I felt that it had a tendency to be couched in excessive medical terminology; I had to reach back to high school biology for some of it, and even with that sort of knowledge, I had difficulty with particular passages.

    6. Hard to read, more like a Doctor's guide for testsI did not enjoy this book and learned very little good practical advice. I do not recommend this book, impractical!!
