    1. There has always been one message that was drilled into Narin woman’s heads, stay out of the Covenanter territory. Kristen has always followed the rules, but a long word day has her running behind and hungry. Deciding to stop by a convenience store and grab a bite quickly, Kristen figures what’s the worst that can happen? As soon as they catch her scent, rare shifters Jakob and Kort know they have found their mate. Realizing that Kristen is a Narin, Kort and Jakob know they have an uphill bat [...]

    2. A lot was left unfinished. Biggest to me was whether Kristen would be forced to give up the legal group she helped found because of the guys' jealousy. It sounded like the intent of the author was what she would gain from being a mate would make up for the loss of a career. I completely disagree. Being mated to a couple guys whose combined brain power is slightly smaller than what would happen in a single dinosaur's walnut sized brain (okay, I know that was mean to say but still those guys deser [...]

    3. This is a greatly expanded version of this story--from 25K+ words to 90K+ words--and reflects that abrasive story-telling style of Jenny Penn. The twin sister of a pack Alpha is claimed, under cover of night and seemingly against her will, by twin brothers of a rival pack and one that is not viewed with charity by the young woman and her family. Yet she has been claimed and mated, and even though she seeks to neutralize the mating by visiting a witch, she is stuck with Kord and Jacob. Getting he [...]

    4. There was just something about those Covenanters that left you wanting more, and Kort and Jakob provide that thrill this time around. For them to realize that their mate was just next door and is a Narin seems appropriate for these two. The fact she is the twin of Alpha presents itself as a major problem. Kristen wasn't all that likable here, she seemed much better in Mating Claire and I really didn't understand her motivations or reasoning. When she was interacting with Jakob, Kort, Derek or Pe [...]

    5. Another winner from the Sea Island Wolves series. As usual, Ms Penn pushes the envelope pretty far with what she's willing to explore in the bedroom (and anywhere else that strikes her characters' fancy.) The raunchy bits just make the love story that much sweeter, and it was awesome to see the humor come through loud and clear in this book. Same as always, the paranormal threat keeps it real - that sh*t is scary!

    6. This was my least favorite book of the series so far. It was more sex than plot. While I'm all for some lovin, I need a good plot to go with it. I really didn;t think that this book did that for me. I do have hope for the next book though! The last chapter really set up the next book and lsft me wanting to know what will happen next.

    7. Twin brothers Jakob and Kort find themselves in trouble when their mate turns out to be off limits, from another pack, and not available for mating. But Kristen won´t not what happened when Kort and Jakob decides to go for it, after all. Quick read, shifters, smutty fluff and MFM.

    8. Jenny Penn Your books are always a sexual delight. I seriously wish I could fing myself a pair of covenantors to mate with, haha what fun. Totally delish!
