    1. I enjoyed Her Impossible Boss for the most part mainly because of Tess who was young(23), hip and full of life. Being the baby of the family and having two over-achieving sisters meant she had an easy time of it and was allowed to get away with it. She's changed jobs often, lives at home and has never taken on that much responsibility mainly because the people in her life never made her but all of this is pointed out to her by Matt, her sister's boss and to whom she went for an interview for the [...]

    2. Such a fun book! Tess is quirky, emotional, and enjoys life to its fullest. She has a positive outlook on love and life and she is filled with compassion. She is a free spirit, sweet, wears her heart on her sleeve and has a heart of gold!Matt on the other hand is a control freak. He is a single dad. He is powerful, calm, and sinfully seductive. He makes it clear he’s very attracted to her but he’s not marriage material. He doesn't believe in true love and soul-mates. Which doesn't stop him f [...]

    3. 3.5 Free-spirited Stars“You’re twenty three years old and you’ve held down eight jobs. I think it’s fair to say that it is a lot.” Tess Kelly has travelled to New York to make some decisions about her life. She gets a job as a nanny for her sister’s boss, Matt Strickland and his daughter, Samantha. With a history of not being able to stay at a job for long, she is determined to succeed at this one. Matt has his reservations about hiring Tess as his 10 year old’s nanny, but he’s d [...]

    4. This book missed the 5 star mark for me because of the hero. He did complete 180 the minute he thought that he would lose out on his baby's life again. It was crazy how inconsistent he was even in his thoughts that revelled only his distrust of her and his lust. I did not feel the love however he dropped the L bomb and she fell for it. I did not however it was just too in keeping with his manipulative manners. Only he treats her like some whore and not like his partner. I like the heroine but di [...]

    5. This is my fourth Cathy Williams and I recognised a pattern. Three out of four heroines were virgins. Three out of four heroines got pregnant. All heroes were ruthless bastards, alpha males. All heroines were below 25. Three out of four heroines weren't academic. All of heroines were the heroes' subordinate. Story flows were almost identical. I am looking for something different actually but seems I haven't. This one is nice enough actually but with pretty much same pattern with different way of [...]

    6. I like the female character, Tess, because she was refreshing and enjoyable. other than her the story line was overused and a bit dry. The book wasn't entirely bad the main reason I didn't like the book that much was because Ms. Williams has the tendency to tell us what the characters are doing rather than show us. I was intrigued as to how Tess would approach and "bond" with Matt's daughter. I was sorely disappointed when the author told us they bonded over clothes. Not the worse book I have re [...]

    7. I totally get waiting for your 'prince' in this dirty disillusioned modern world which is exactly what Tess the heroine in this story does. This was refreshing because for once in this genre the woman sticks to what she believes and a moral standard that too many people throw unscrupulously to the side of the road.I liked this short novel. I'm going to look up more books by Cathy Williams. Three and a half stars!

    8. It was quite average. The plot was good but the writing was bleh. The author never really showed development. It was just yep she fell in love with him and yep he loved her as well. Not really, the story of HOW she feel in love more like yeah she fell in love but you're never gonna see what happened lol

    9. It's everything I look for in a book, a man who thinks he's incapable of loving another woman due to being burned in the past and a woman who is the only resource in breaking through. I could not put this book down and will definitely be reading more of Cathy Williams in the near future. A must read.

    10. I really loved this book. It would have been a five star rating but i felt the ending was rushed and could have been 10% longer than it was.
