    3. I received a copy of this book from a Giveaway.I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I am a North Carolina resident and am familiar with many of the sites referenced in the book. Ms. Ambrose did an excellent job of researching this book and her descriptions and impressions are spot on. I am a bit of a skeptic when it comes to ghosthunting and psychic phenomena, but I was interested to hear Ms. Ambrose's impressions of these historical sites from her perspective as one with psychic abilities. 4. Last year I vacationed several times throughout NC. I went through and stayed in several of the areas that were mentioned in this book. It was great to get some history and some ghost stories of the areas.

    5. North Carolina is a beautiful and interesting state. In addition to the beaches, forests and mountains, there is so much history to experience. From Roanoke Island, the site of the first English settlement in North America, to Revolutionary and Civil War History, there is no shortage of NC historical sites and people to study. There are also many legends and ghost stories.Ghosthunting North Carolina touches on a few allegedly haunted sites across the state. The book is divided into 3 main sectio [...]

    6. I've always been fascinated by ghosts and I also love North Carolina, so when I saw this book I had to get it to check out North Carolina's haunted history. The author covers every area of North Carolina, from The Outer Banks to The Triad to The Blue Ridge Mountains, there's a ghost story to be told. I loved reading about the history of North Carolina, the author's experience at the various locations and and the stories told by employees and tourists. There were a few parts in the book where I f [...]

    7. Ghosthunting and paranormal activity are not subjects that I am very familiar with. Nor do I have a strong opinion about them. I tend not to judge something I don't understand very well or have not experienced myself. That being said, I thought this book was great. I am fairly new to North Carolina and am still unfamiliar with most of the history of the state. This book is a great story telling book about events that occurred in North Carolina over the last several hundred years. The ghost stori [...]

    8. This is a book on "true" ghost stories from the state of North Carolina. I have yet to find a book in this series that I haven't liked. I got this one while I was on vacation in North Carolina, I like to try to pick up a book on either the history of the area we visit or on the legends/ghosts. The best thing about the book was I hadn't read/heard/seen most of the stories in it and with how many books I've read on the Paranormal that's saying a lot. If you like reading books on this topic I highl [...]

    9. Very interesting read. I couldn't believe how many of these places I've already been to. Looks like a few more to add to the list.

    10. I live in North Carolina. I didn't know there were so many haunted places here. Makes me want to take a trip to tour these places, to see if I can sense them. I also found the history of the cities and location to be very interesting. I learned things I didn't know before. Thank you for writing such an informational book.
