Author Barry Black gives detailed accounts from the bible of others who have gone through hardships and on the other side came out well.     6. Thank you, Dr. Black, for inspiring me while I'm laid up with an injury for a couple weeks. A few major themes I picked up were: having positive people around you is vital to persevering through trials, and expecting difficulty in life can make us rely on God's power at all times.
