    1. full disclosure - i didn't actually read any of this, i just looked at the adorable pictures. but i looked at them many times, so that countscause, see?? and see? and oh! but and wheeee and also and then and yes! and but then andthey just are all so. delicious looking!! you can't run away fast enough!! imma eat you!!!and now i have no friends.

    2. I've always loved the book "Extraordinary Chickens," by the same author. I didn't realize that it was part of a series and was really excited to find this one. Stephen Green-Armytage has a gift for taking what are just regular farm animals and displaying them as the extraordinary creatures they are. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

    3. Who knew that pigs were extraordinary? Or that an entire book could almost be taken up with photos of the animal? This book is one in a series by the photographer-author, each focused on one animal. The color photographs are beautiful, if you have it in yourself to consider pig beautiful creatures and you just might, after reading this book. A description of pig breeds is included in the back and makes for useful reading while looking at the photographs, which list each breed, the sex of the ani [...]
