    2. An introduction to prayer for children that provides examples of what to talk to God about, answers questions about how and where you can pray, and clarifies common misconceptions about prayer. This started off just ok. It talks about various ideas of what you can talk to God about, but then it got into clarifying a lot of misconceptions and questions that kids have about prayer and I thought that part of the book was excellent. I'm not thrilled about the font choices for the text. I don't see wh [...]

    3. This book was good and bad. It had really simple language and a very concrete overview of prayer for little kids to understand. That said, there was also needless Christian doctrine sprinkled throughout. I noticed other people reviewing this felt it was a little heavy handed too. You might enjoy What Is God?.

    4. I got this for my kids to help lay the foundation of a relationship with God. I skip some pages because I don't want to indoctrinate my kids before they can think critically about it, but I like this book still. I will wait until they are in grade school to really read it to them, but I leave it on their bookshelf so they can choose it when they want.

    5. This was horrifying What decent human would buy this for a child?! Talk about brainwashing them earlyFYI: I read it out of curiosity because it showed up in donations for a garage sale I'm helping set up.

    6. This book puts way more emphasis on praying then on also listening for God's response to our thanks, prayers and requests. Of course we are definitely supposed to pray all the time, but we also need to listen for God's voice, for Him to talk back to us.

    7. Read this to my one month old and prayed with her after. Mentions many of the things we can pray and be thankful for. Longer read, but simple words for young readers.
