    1. Hollie Chips is the story of young Hollie - an unusual girl who is very intelligent and cannot lie. She is charming from page one, reminding me a little of Matilda, a favourite book of mine growing up. Although Hollie does not have real magic, she performs a little spell of her own in finding perceptive ways to engage the lonely neighbours in the comunity, transforming their lives for the better and saving her beloved street in the process. That was one of my favourite things about this book, th [...]

    5. I read this to my six-year-old daughter a few chapters a night and she loved it. (I did too.) Such a clever story, my daughter and I both loved Hollie and were caught up in wondering how she was going to save Puriti Road.

    6. I think that Hollie was really cheeky And the book was really inspiring so that you stand up for what You believe in.

    7. So cute - what's not to like? Hollie marches to the beat of her own drum and likes to be friends with adults.

    8. Fantastic book! Great character development. It may be targeted at kids but as an adult reading it I loved it! Can't wait for more Anna Gowan books to come out!
